This beautiful hotel is located in the centre of Nerja, in a quiet area and only 300 m from Burriana beach. The airport is about 45 minutes away by car. The historic centre and Balcón de Europa is just a 10-15 minute walk away. To relax and enjoy a sunny day, revellers may love to have a refreshing swim in the outdoor swimming pool or sunbathe by its side or in the solarium. Guests can taste the delicious food options the restaurant offers along with its lovely atmosphere or rise their heart rate in the onsite gym. The rooms have been nicely decorated with warm tones to create a welcoming feeling and are equipped with cosy beds and with all the amenities needed to please each guest.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Lovely hotel, not too big with a nice level of atmosphere around the pool and bars. Plenty loungers and more on the roof terrace, which seemed quiet most days. Clean and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. Staff really helpful. Small touches make it stand out such as being able to borrow beach towels and a parasol to take to the beach, free of charge. Food at pool bar very good.
We were meeting family that were staying nearby and I fell upon this hotel when searching for accommodation in Nerja. First impressions were that it was kept impeccably clean. The staff always seem cheerful and helpful. Then the room, whilst quite small, it had everything we needed. A comfortable bed, choice of pillows, good air-conditioning, plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe and a really good shower. The balcony was small but it was still pleasant to spend an hour or so in the evening. Breakfast was really good and I think there was something for everyone's tastes. The swimming pool is a lovely temperature and is never overcrowded. The location of this hotel is excellent, it's close enough to the town but not too close, as we don't like it too busy all the time. Nerja town does get busy at this time of year, especially around the Balcone de Europa, but a nice area to visit a few times. Having stayed in many hotels with higher star ratings than this, I think this one really provides 5 star service. Will definitely be returning
When can I say absolutely amazing !! The staff were so helpful and polite the rooms were fantastic fresh towels and bed made everyday it was immaculate the breakfast was amazing everything u could have wanted my husband was delighted with his fresh ham and cheese omelette made fresh every morning , we were on the ground floor and only had a few steps to the outdoor pool and breakfast hall even the snack bar food was delicious, best thing was not fighting for sunbeds there were still plenty of soars in the afternoon. The pool and jacuzzi were spotless and clean best hotel we have stayed in 3 star should have been a 5 Can’t wait to return
We have been to Nerja many times over the years and this is our first time staying at Villa Flamenca, our whole week was excellent in every way, the room, bars, breakfast, pool area, and no problem at all getting sun loungers, thank you to all the staff at the hotel for your service and professionalism we seen during that week. My wife had a medical problem and without the support and advice from a wonderful person at reception we were able to attend the medical centre, and have the issue sorted quickly, i hope i am spelling the name properly, Amporah, thank you. This was a great holiday in the little gem of a place we love ( Nerja ), Villa Flamenca your staff and hotel are a credit to the hospitality sector. Thank you, Martin and Linda Connolly. Ireland
We have just returned home from a two week stay at this excellent hotel. When we originally decided to stay in Nerja we looked at the 4 star hotels and read all of their reviews. Each time we were drawn back to the 3 star Villa Flamenca . Eventually we paid the deposit and booked a comfort terrace direct with the hotel. Not quite sure why it is only 3 star. Great size room and terrace. The location was great in a quiet residential area. As previously mentioned it is the staff that make this hotel. They actually look happy doing their job. We have been to many hotels over the years and without exception all of the staff at this hotel had a smile everyday and said ¡ hola ! It has been mentioned several times about the steep hill which leads to the Burriana beach. Don't be put off by this. Most people sit around the pool during the day and walk into the centre at night which is a different route and is on the flat. Many bars a restaurants on the way. Breakfast was great, bar and food prices were great, staff were fantastic. Thank you to the Villa Flameca team. ¡ Hasta pronto !
