Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Had a great stay here at the Toboso Chaparil. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfast, plenty of choice, a good start to the day. The best bit for us was the location, only a short walk to the Balcon De Europa. A couple of negatives ... we paid extra for a room with a balcony, it was the tiniest balcony I have ever seen.The only view we had was a line of trees directly in front and a huge construction site to our right. We never managed to get a sun bed as when we went up to the roof all the beds were taken, mostly by towels, including white bath towels taken from the rooms !!!
Great stay only problem was people smoking on roof pool area think there should be smoking area for them
Was so disappointed with this hotel, the photos shown are not realistic, no bar no atmosphere in the hotel, however there is a bar next door to hotel where the staff were not very welcoming. We paid extra for our balcony which fitted one chair. Very surprised at jet 2 where we booked our holiday, Jet 2 should have checked out these hotels before sending people to stay in them. Construction works outside bedrooms from 8am to 6pm, very annoyed with the whole experience as it cost 1,900e for the 4 nights, having all that said Nerga was absolutely beautiful
Just back from a 10 night stay. Great welcome, with lots of helpful information given. Hotel in the heart of Nerja, with a flat walk towards the Balcon de Europa, the town and many coves. Another beach can be found down the hill outside the hotel, as can the bus stop for the land train to rhe caves. The staff at the hotel were pleasant, and we found the hotel to be quiet, with a lovely roof top pool area that looks like it has been recently refurbished. The whole place inside is bright and appears newly painted. The room we had benefited from great air con and free safety deposit boxes. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. There isn't anything negative I can say about this hotel. For a base to explore what Nerja has to offer, it was great. The outside of the hotel could however benefit from a fresh coat of paint, but dont let this put you off; maybe that is next on their list! Would return. Nerja is beautiful, lots of tapas bars local to the hotel and an array of restaurants and shops a stroll away. 🇪🇸
We have just arrived at the hotel and the only thing I can say is that the photographer should get an Oscar The hotel and rooms are 2 star at best There was a lady complaining about no electricity for 4 days in a row, no showers in her room The rooms are tiny and dated and there is a building site beside us The pool area is also dated with worn out sunbeds On the plus side the location is very good Be very wary of the positive reviews
