Just back from a fantastic 10-day stay at Iberostar Coral Beach with my 18-year-old daughter, and we had an amazing time!
We both loved the hotel. It was spotlessly clean throughout, extremely well maintained, and had everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We stayed in a spacious Junior Suite on the ground floor, which allowed us to walk straight out to the pool area, a feature we found incredibly convenient. The only thing missing in the room was bathrobes. It wasn't an issue for me, but my daughter was disappointed, she loves a hotel bathrobe! We also appreciated the nightly turndown service, complete with chocolates, and the water refill stations located around the hotel were a great touch.
The staff throughout the hotel were excellent: friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in ensuring guests had a great stay. The pool area was beautiful, well maintained, and wonderfully relaxed. Thankfully, there were no sun lounger wars here, which made for a much more pleasant experience. Loved the Aqua Gym everyday at 12 with David!
We booked on a bed-and-breakfast basis and were offered an upgrade to half board when we checked in. On our first evening, having been up very early for our flight, we decided to try the dinner buffet rather than head out. Evening Buffets in hotels aren't my favourite at the best of times and, unfortunately, this one wasn't quite to our taste. We found the selection fairly limited, and there wasn't a great deal of variety. It confirmed that we'd made the right decision not to upgrade to half board, and we chose to eat out every evening instead. The Breakfast Buffet, however, was excellent, with plenty of choice and something different for everyone.
In terms of location, there isn't a huge amount immediately surrounding the hotel, although having an Aldi directly opposite was very convenient for snacks and drinks. We walked to Puerto Banús a couple of times in the evenings, which took around 20 minutes, and also took taxis into Marbella Old Town on a few occasions. There are several lovely beach bars along the walk to Puerto Banús, and we enjoyed some fantastic evening meals there.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. In fact, we'd happily request the same room again!
We actually stayed here as a party of 5 nan, grandad, son and 2 grandsons. My wife who is disabled was treated like a queen. The room was fully adapted and everywhere was accessible. The food was excellent we were all inclusive, sunbed service impeccable. Entertainment so so. Location not brilliant but taxis were prompt and plentiful to Marbella town and Puerto Banus Service for all meals was truly a pleasure with happy smiling staff to whom nothing was too much trouble. Yet another fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel. This was our fifth stay at this hotel, we stayed in one of the suites on a half board basis and had a wonderful holiday. The suite was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The staff are all excellent providing an exceptionally high level of customer service, especially Christina and Pepe. We really enjoyed the breakfast service at the bar from 9.30am to 11.30am and thought this was a fabulous addition from the restaurant service. The food as always was excellent with great choice each evening and again friendly and welcoming staff in the restaurant and bar. I will be returning to the hotel again at the end of September, this will be my 6th visit to this hotel to me that speaks volumes. I will returning to celebrate my birthday and have booked the penthouse room for our stay on the hotels website. I would highly recommend this hotel, the location is excellent, stunning views and wonderful staff.
