My Fav Spot in 2026 Summer
Beautiful place with delicious food and friendly staff. They were all welcoming and helpful. I’ve been there 4 times, all were perfect. Will always go back.
Manero, a peaceful, elegant atmosphere that makes you forget the outside world
Manero is one of my absolute favorite restaurants, and a place I happily return to again and again. Every visit is consistently excellent. The food is outstanding, with high-quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, and delicious flavors. The service is always friendly, professional, and attentive, making every meal feel special.
One of the things I love most is the stunning garden setting. Surrounded by lush greenery, it has a peaceful, elegant atmosphere that makes you forget the outside world. Whether you’re enjoying a long lunch or a relaxed dinner under the trees, the ambiance is simply magical. What a load of rubbish
We went for dinner at this most top rated restaurant in the hotel.
OMG!!! how poor was the service and the food.
We were at the table which wobbled like !! Come on why seat us here, asked for champagne ok, then tried to serve it in wine glasses, my wife had to go and show them what wee wanted !
We complaind about the table they just said that is best we can do, eventually we got moved to a table which resembles a 5 star restaurant.
Had champagne and we had to pour it ourselves !!!
Order a sirloin steak l, sorry see photo that was not what it should of been.
Service was poor and mayhem to be honest, we were going to bring our son for his birthday in August but my goodness it was shocking
Recently Renovated and Beautiful
I recently spent three nights at Don Carlos Marbella in a family connecting room. It was certainly on the expensive side, but the hotel has been recently renovated and it really shows. The property is stylish, modern and has a luxurious feel throughout.
On check-in, a young lady was assigned to show us to our room. Unfortunately, she seemed rather disinterested. She simply accompanied us in the lift and left us at the room door without explaining any of the hotel’s facilities or even letting us know where and when breakfast was served. It wasn’t the warm welcome I was expecting from a hotel of this standard.
I also felt the service around the pool could be more proactive. On more than one occasion, staff walked straight past while we were waiting for someone to help open the umbrellas. Small touches like that make a difference at a luxury resort. One thing that really surprised me was being charged €5 for the same small carton of Don Carlos branded water that is provided complimentary in the rooms. That felt unnecessarily expensive.
Breakfast, however, was excellent. There was a huge variety on offer, everything was well presented, and the breakfast staff were friendly and efficient.
A special mention must go to the team managing the valet parking. They were always welcoming, quick to assist, and my car was brought around promptly every time.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay at Don Carlos Marbella. While it’s undoubtedly a beautiful hotel, I’m still undecided as to whether the overall experience justified the premium price.

Ismael was a great coach, played with him twice and got really good.
Maggie at the reception was also great, amazing energy and she helped with getting my sister and I lessons really easy.
