Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Excellent as always we have been here many time
This was our first time at this hotel. We normally stay at the Amàre Ibiza so thought we would change it up a bit.
The hotel is nice but small, the pool area does get crowded but it’s nice and we never struggled for a bed. They don’t remove towels though as stated as there were quite a few that were there with no one on for a while.
We had the dolce vita suite and it was nice but a lot of space that’s not needed. On arrival to our room we got a knock on the door with a welcome bottle of Prosecco which was lovely. Unfortunately I became ill (no fault of the hotel) so we didn’t drink it.
We used the complimentary spa treatment and it was gorgeous, nice and relaxing and a lovely addition to the stay.
In Ibiza we always book the one lounge but decided against it for Marbella and I’m so glad we did as it’s located in the reception lobby - I would have been very disappointed if I’d booked that.
The dj is on the beach which is nice but if you on the far beds you can’t hear the dj and you certainly can’t hear him from the pool.
The best thing was the half board food, this was amazing and tops Ibiza’s half board. The food was great, the choices were fantastic too. As I caught a stomach bug and was sick for 4 days I couldn’t really eat much but what I ate was amazing.
The hotel is on the doorstep to the old town which was great for a little wonder to have tapas and drinks. We also walked into peuto banus from the hotel along the beach, this is a lovely walk, it took 1hr 45mins but there lots of beach bars you can stop at on the way.
The rooftop bar is nothing like Ibiza, infact I think it lets this hotel down. I have the same drink all day so I know the price, yet when we get to the rooftop bar, it’s 3€ more, they also only serve bottles of beer up there for the price of the pint you get downstairs. Not good at all felt like you was being ripped off. Ibiza don’t put there prices up so not sure why Marbella do. Also no dj up there neither and this was 8pm.
Right on the beach, gorgeous hotel. Mum and I had a lovely holiday. We were room 125 which was spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners every day with you. The pool, beach, rooftop bar and spa were great. The best part was the AMAZING staff, so attentive & friendly. We didn't get all the names but special mentions of fabulous service goes to the lovely life guard, Carlos. Also Juan, Bogdan, Sylvie, Natila, Alicia, Daniel, David and the rest!!!! Thank you for a relaxing holiday.
Evening meal on beach restaurant is very good.location is excellent, can't fault the hotel. Will be my go too marbella hotel in future .
