This apartment complex is located next to a shopping centre and Sohail castle, just 1.5 kilometres away from Fuengirola and only 350 metres from the nearest beach. The airport is about 15-minute drive away. At a walking distance, guests will find a big variety of restaurants, cafes, bars and entertainment venues. The wonderful outdoor pool area is perfect for the ones wanting to work on their tan, relax on a sunbed or have a refreshing swim. The restaurant offers delicious food and the bar tasty drinks along with an agreeable atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with cosy beds and all the essential amenities needed for a great experience. They have been nicely decorated with a combination of light and warm colours to make travellers feel welcomed.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just back from a wonderful 10 night holiday here with our 2 children (12 and 13 years). We shared a 1-bed self catering apartment. It had a twin bed in the bedroom and 3 single sofa beds to use in the lounge/hallway. Beds were firm but comfy. Great air con. Lovely long balcony (a bit narrow but we managed to sit together to eat) with views of the sea and castle. Drying rack included for our towels which was great. TV with good signal, great wifi, basic kitchen with most things you need although it did not have a freezer section in the fridge which was a shame, nice bathroom, lots of storage space. Clean. Fantastic location - across the road from a massive shopping mall with loads of lovely shops plus a well priced supermarket. 5 minutes walk from the beach, although the sand was sharp and the water (surprisingly) was freezing so we didn't fancy beach days, but the promenade was lovely for walks. Market day on a Tuesday is AMAZING - wish we had spent longer looking at everything, it's a decent walk so consider catching a bus if walking isn't your thing. Pool area was fab - life guards and entertainment staff on duty all the time, working hard making it fun and safe for the kids. No inflatables or balls allowed in the pool which is some ways was a shame but then it did keep the pool safe and not too busy which was nice. Clean pool and pool area. Loads of sun loungers. Music playing most of the time. Towards the end of the holiday there seemed to be a big group of children playing rough, who we weren't convinced were residents staying at the hotel - they didn't have parents with them and seemed to be running riot and causing a bit of chaos, which was a shame but it didn't ruin our experience. The football court is fantastic and our son spent endless hours in it, it's a massive plus for the hotel. Bring s football! Would love to return but we try to visit new places every year so I doubt we'll return, but we highly recommend it.
We stayed at Fuengirola Beach for a week. The hotel staff were lovely. We booked a one bedroom apartment for 2 adults and 2 children and in hindsight should have booked two bedrooms. There was a lack of space. We ate at the hotel twice, food was average. Drinks at the bar were good; I enjoyed going down for a coffee in the morning. We would have loved to get involved in the entertainment more but it was quite late for little ones (1 and 3). Face painting was at 7.15pm and mini disco at 9pm, shows at 10pm. We attended the mini disco once and it was a bit lacklustre. The hotel is in a great location, 10 mins to the beach and lots of restaurants. You can get the bus into Fuengirola just outside the hotel. It was also next to a huge mall with a supermarket. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend to friends and family.
Nice hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, pool area was nice. One whole side of the pool view rooms are in the shade all day. Food in hotel was good, we had breakfast once and lunch a few times. Hotel next to a big supermarket and shopping centre which is great. Short walk into main areas and beach, 10 mins to start if beach about 30 to marina area. Would recommend
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We are not usually ones for staying around the hotel, however, it had everything to meet our families needs and found ourselves staying by the pool most days. Short walk to bridge and beach. Staff are all very nice and our room was cleaned/ towel change every second day.
We had a two bed room apartment with a huge balcony with sun all day (road side) plenty of space for everyone. Pool and park areas were fab and happy hour is great. All food and drinks are so reasonably priced. Mall over the road was a huge hit with our teen. Also has a supermarket which has everything!
If I had to pick a negative, it would be that no floaties are allowed in the pool. Were told you are allowed a small one (the size of a life saving rubber ring.) I thought ours met that criteria, however, was asked to remove it. Daughter used pool noodle instead- provided by the staff and still had fun.
Have been returning to the Fuengirola Beach Hotel for 20 years. Great location. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. Also large shopping centre and Supermarket across the road. The hotel is very clean and rooms are spotless and bed linen, towels etc are changed regularly. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Reception and the staff are so helpful and very friendly. Nice terrace bar to enjoy happy hour. Towels can be accommodated for the pool at a small cost. Really can't fault this Hotel and will return again next year.
