This modern beach hotel is located in Costa del Sol in the ever-popular city of Fuengirola. Situated on the seafront promenade opposite the beach yet centrally located to all the popular stores, restaurants and tourist attractions. The property is located within a 12-minute walk from Los Boliches Beach and the airport is just a 23-minute drive away. Guests can enjoy a day at the beach or relax by the rooftop pool with a wonderful panoramic view of the ocean. The pool shares space with the Sky Bar for refreshing drinks and beautiful views. The hotel offers a restaurant serving buffet style dining for both breakfast and dinner. Each modern designed room decorated in creams and warm greys offers the comfort of home to please all types of travellers.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I am staying here this week with my wife, Julie, and having read bad reviews we are pleasantly pleased with the hotel and the facilities. We arrived on Sunday at 11am but couldn't check in until 2 which is understandable. There is a room for your luggage. The hotel is very clean and apart from a receptionist who appeared to be stressed out when we arrived the staff are very friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast is plentiful and there is a lot of choice. You can have a fresh omelette made. We don't find the restaurant that busy at 8.30. The rooms are small, but very clean and your towels are changed daily if you opt for your room to be cleaned. We asked for extra hangers for our clothes and these arrived very quickly. Others have mentioned the design of the rooms in relation to the shower and toilet, which isn't ideal if you're staying with friends, but this wasn't a problem for us. There is a kettle and small fridge, ideal to store water and cans from the nearby supermarkets. We have a sea view balcony which is great to sit on, but render is falling from the building exterior. We spend our days by the pool, choosing the shaded side which gets the sun in the afternoon. The pool doesn't open until 11am which is late, and something we didn't check out before we booked. I choose to wait on the stairs like many others, to ensure we get a sunbed, which are limited,but this is the same as anywhere you stay. Julie takes the lift at 10.55 and often gets a bed before I do. The sky bar hasn't been open for a while, but you are allowed to bring your own drinks to the pool, a lot cheaper than hotel prices and ice is supplied if you ask for it by the friendly staff who check that you're staying here. We eat out in the evening, and the hotel is situated in the heart of Fuengirola, near the many restaurants and Irish bars. We probably wouldn't stay here again, but we have enjoyed our holiday.
The hotel was pleasant and clean. Centrally located ideal for bars and resturants in fish alley. Rooms ok but not much privacy innthevdesign of the bathroom! Disappointing that the sky bar was closed for the duration of our stay, fantastic views from the rooftop. Good choice at breakfast, busy around 10am but much quieter earlier.
I really liked my stay here! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the view was amazing and I loved the breakfast (even as a vegetarian) The only annoying thing was that the bathroom is with a see through glass, not only the shower but als the toilet door which can not be closed properly But really good hotel, especially it being in front of the sea (one walks 30 seconds) Big plus for the 24/7 reception and the security :) The rooms get cleaned everyday and I always see people cleaning the elevators and the hotel generally Its a 3 star hotel and it does what it promises, i am used to german standards and it didn't disappoint me, more the opposite since the staff was much kinder :)
1 big negative for us this time. This is our 2nd time here and it’s great. Superbly located on the beach and right infront of all bars and restaurants. Hotel was spotless but just one complaint. The hotel pool doesn’t open until 11am 😩 we went up one day laid there till around 2/3pm and decided to pop out for a snack we didn’t want to eat from the pool bar (no reason just like going out) on arrival back about 30/40 mins later our towels and all belongings had been removed and other people were on our beds. After questioning this with bar staff why they had removed everything I was told we can’t leave the beds or reserve them. I explained we had been on them all morning and literally popped out for a snack but again was told we cannot reserve beds !!!!!!!!! We are definitely not people to put towels down and go for hours I don’t agree with that but I do feel we can go out for a snack or drink so be aware. Overall the hotel is great and rooms are spotless.
The hotel location is very close to all the main bars and restaurants. Beach is also just across the road sun-beds are €16 for two and it was busy so had to pay for the next day to ensure we had a couple (see below re hotel pool area). Had a room on the 13th floor and the views were very good. Lifts don’t take too long even at peak times like breakfast. The breakfast is ok, plenty of choice. Coffee good too. We didn’t have the best experience with cleaning. Had to hang the please clean sign daily as we were twice forgotten and had no towels or toilet paper. Reception did provide when asked. The floors in the room were not cleaned as sand was there from the day before. Under the bed was not cleaned and full of sand and dust. The beds are so hard, many people have commented on this and it is very true. I don’t mind a hard bed but this was extreme…The balcony was fine for us but there are many crumbling and I can appreciate people would be concerned about that. The hotel has a pool which we never used but we did go up to see about 11:30am and there were no loungers free (it opens at 11am) and is popular. Only one area with shade but would be heaven for sun worshipers. Beds looked close together. We didn’t think it was very clean but we don’t want to queue for a sun lounger on holiday. The hotel is in a great location
