Cannot recommend the heroes club enough, they went above and beyond for my kids. I had no intention of using kids club however my 3 year old loved it and asked to go every afternoon! The staff are exceptional and have such a caring nature. Thank you for making our holiday so special!
We have just returned from a wonderful, pampering week at Ikos Andalusia with our family, ranging in age from 9 to 80, and I can honestly say that the experience was exceptional.
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the entire team was absolutely amazing , warm, kind and committed to making every guest’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The team at reception welcomed us beautifully, and whenever an issue or request came up, it was handled quickly, efficiently, and always with a smile.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed and maintained, with a wonderful atmosphere. The access to the beach is very convenient, and the beach area is simply beautiful.
I would especially like to thank the Guest Relations team, and in particular Anita and Aurora, who went above and beyond to help me throughout our stay. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism made a real difference and were greatly appreciated.
The restaurant buffet staff were also excellent friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. The level of service throughout the resort was truly impressive.
A few suggestions for improvement: • It would be great to have a wider variety of evening entertainment and activities. • Yoga and Pilates classes in an air-conditioned indoor space would be much more comfortable, especially during the warmer and humid months.
Apart from these small suggestions, we had an absolutely fantastic stay. I highly recommend Ikos Andalusia for families of all ages and would be delighted to return again in the near future.
Thank you to the entire Ikos Andalusia team for an unforgettable holiday! ❤️
One of the best Ikos resorts, especially for food and service. Would highly recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional holiday at Ikos Andalusia
We have had the most wonderful holiday at Ikos Andalusia and honestly can’t praise the hotel and staff enough.
One of the things that has really stood out to us is the exceptional level of service. Every member of staff is so attentive and genuinely seems to want you to have the best possible experience. Glasses are constantly topped up, you’re always asked if you’d like anything else, and nothing ever feels like too much trouble. It’s those little touches that make such a difference.
A very special mention has to go to Anita, who has been absolutely exceptional throughout our stay. She is so warm, friendly and attentive and has looked after us incredibly well. She regularly checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and genuinely went above and beyond. She is a real credit to Ikos and made our holiday feel even more special.
The food has been superb throughout our stay, with so much choice and an incredibly high standard across the restaurants. The hotel itself is beautiful, the venues and surroundings are fabulous, and everything feels so well looked after.
We’ve had such a relaxing and memorable holiday and will be very sad to leave. The combination of beautiful surroundings, amazing food and, most importantly, the wonderful staff is what makes Ikos Andalusia so special.
Thank you to Anita and the entire team for looking after us so well. We would absolutely love to return! ❤️
A real review from a loyal Ikos fan. On first arrival we felt a little flat compared to previous visits to Ikos Porto Petro. Andalusia just doesn’t have the luxury wow factor, but check in was friendly and efficient. Having visited Ikos twice before, one as standard and one as deluxe I was keen to understand the differences here. No 1 ( and not important to many people)…but…no champagne whatsoever available to non deluxe (we were told it was at managers discretion which was slightly weird but maybe got lost in translation). At Porto Petro champagne was free flowing and the only difference between non deluxe and standard was a bottle of Tattinger left in the room for deluxe. Sadly here it’s cava…or cava.::which feels a bit mean when you e forked out over 14k for a holiday for 2 adults and 2 kids. The cava isn’t great and was often flat however bar staff gladly changed it when pointed out to them. However that’s the rules here so fine…when we pointed out the difference between Porto Petro drinks package and here they kindly put a bottle of Tattinger in our room which was sweet of them. Moving on the resort is much smaller and at first that felt disappointing however a few days in we acclimatised and actually the small resort means it’s easy to navigate and fab for families. Restaurants here are much better than Porto Petro and all the team were lovely.::pools felt less crowded too and always beds available despite being smack bang in the UK summer holidays. Little watch out..there are NO water sports available…although when we attempted to book and were directed to a third party water sports company who wanted to charge us we were very kindly allocated 150 Euro credit to use there for the week. To be honest the beach is t great and very windy so didn’t use it, but a lovely gesture from management. Would be good if this was automatic for all guests as opposed to those who complain..just a thought. Also our last night happened to be a wedding anniversary and my husband tried to order (and pay for) a bottle of champagne..as we were not deluxe this felt nearly impossible and a little frustrating. The resort is very clean and stylish and brilliant for teens. The free shuttle to Puerto Banus is great and the cocktail bar is fantastic with fabulous views and great for people watching and evening entertainment. So..:we all agreed after a shaky start this was our favourite Ikos resort…although if you are wine and champagne lovers definitely pick deluxe! We will definitely come back and all the family had a great time.
