Hotel is very big and there are many cosy places to sit and relax. Food in the restaurants is unfortunately not very tasty even though the amount of food is huge. Service in the hotel reception is friendly. Hotel is quite old, but clean. The pool area is nice. The beach is close but unfortunately a bit dirty with trash. I wonder why the hotel does not keep it clean daily, because it is the hotel’s beach. It was a little bit difficult to swim because there were sudden big stones in the water and we hurted our legs while swimming. We were staying in junior suite with ocean view. In fact the view was not what we expected: a tower was blocking it. The room terrace was big, but with poor furniture (two plastic chairs and a table) and did not invite to spend time there. The room cleaning was very good.
We are in the hotel now and it is wonderful. In particular the team in the Lobby Bar are so efficient and such great fun. We are being really well looked after by Juan F and Michelin who are making everyone feel special 😊
Beautiful hotel, with the most lovely hardworking staff. Thank you all. Our stay was so lovely. We will most definitely be coming to stay again. The hotel is clean, beautifully decorated. The facilities were great. Pool and sun beds were great. Spa was really nice. We stayed bed and breakfast as the port is just a short walk away with lots of restaurants to try. The hotel breakfast provided lots of choices and was kept topped up at all times. We did have a couple of lunches at the restaurant. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our first stay with you so lovely. We were truly able to relax and enjoy.

Not so great - Coffee awful / food quality poor ( only b and b so glad not to be all inc!) / server staff unpleasant and short staffed/ pool loungers need updating / no tables or pool service at the pool/ drinks not the best quality from a tiny hut/ a shop is needed in the hotel - our party could walk 15-20 mins for water snacks etc but not everyone can. They do have little vending machines but contents limited. There are a few restaurants nearby Nube lovely -15 mins walk Hotel is very peaceful and has a beautiful setting in front of the beach - would I visit again no not unless improvements made
Great relaxing stay - so glad we chose this hotel. We booked through Saga and had a wonderful time. Chose Privilege option and felt it was worth the extra. Our room on the 6th floor had an outstanding view across the bay towards Gibraltar. Room was a little dated - no USB points and could only plug the kettle in close to the floor - but was comfortable. Balcony had 2 chairs a small table a lounger and an umbrella. Bathroom was excellent a large walk in shower - request a shower mat if mobility problems as floor a little slippy. Entrance to the hotel is impressive clean and comfortable. Reception and check in excellent thanks to Angie who was friendly and helpful. The Alboran restaurant was good and we were able to book a table for 2 for lunch and dinner when we arrived. A large variety of food available - especially meats and fish which were cooked on the grill. Service could at times be slow to clear plates etc and seemed understaffed at times. Must mention Angie with the beautiful hair who was an excellent friendly and caring waitress at all times. We had breakfast in the Thalassa restaurant as part of the Privilege package and this was a great way to start the day- all dishes and drinks served at the table by Eva who looked after us very well. Although a distance from Estepona the bus stop was close by and taxis reasonable. Hotel in a beautiful location with a mountain behind. Beautiful gardens well looked after. Overall an excellent hotel and we shall certainly return.
