11 of us ranging from 6 to 72 years had an excellent week family holiday here. The staff were great, the accommodation was great, the facilities were great and the food was great, especially the themed evenings at the beach restaurant. Being hyper critical, some areas were in need of a bit of attention and a few broken floor tiles around the property needed replacing. Again, being hyper critical, the bars were occasionally understaffed of the assigned staff could get involved in prolonged conversations with other staff or customers. In general though, the overall holiday has to be classed between very good an excellent.

Overall, we had a positive stay, although there are a few areas that could be improved.

The hotel is very clean, and the housekeeping team works hard to keep both the rooms and the public areas spotless. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful.

For families with children, this is an excellent resort. My children, aged 10 and 12, said it was the best resort they have ever stayed at. There are plenty of water slides, pools and activities for children, although this also makes the hotel quite noisy at times.

The biggest disappointment was the food. We expected better quality, especially the desserts, which were overly sweet and full of cream. The simpler cakes, however, were very good.

We also felt there was very little entertainment for adults. The pool bar is not very conveniently located, and in the evenings the queues for drinks are quite long. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, although the service at the evening bar could have been more welcoming.

The location is another drawback if you plan to visit Málaga. It takes around 2½ hours by public transport, taxis are expensive, and hiring a car is not ideal because parking in the city can be difficult. The beach in front of the hotel was also disappointing, with cold water and poor conditions for swimming.

Overall, I would recommend this resort mainly for families with children. For that type of holiday, it is an excellent choice.

I’m disappointed by my stay here. There was bugs all over the sofa/bed I was sleeping on so I’d be woken up every so often to bugs crawling on me. The towels in the bathroom were rarely replaced. Also at the pool my sunglasses were stolen (not the hotels fault) but when I went to lost property a couple times to see if anyone had maybe handed them in they said they didn’t have anything BUT when I asked someone in the morning they actually showed me lost property.
