This exceptional resort boasts a magnificent location in Benalmádena right on the water's edge, and just a short taxi ride to Benalmadena Marina. The resort's convenient location means the villages of Mijas and Fuengirola are not far away with tennis and golf clubs, as well as a casino nearby. Moreover, Malaga international airport is a mere 20 minutes’ ride. Visitors may love to relax by the side of the outdoor swimming pool, sunbathing or resting under the shadow of an umbrella. After a full day of sightseeing, sporting action or playing on the beach, guests can unwind in the comfortable rooms, which are perfectly equipped with all the essential amenities needed for a pleasant stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have just came back from a week stay and we loved everything about this hotel, we stayed in a Garden suite this was spotless, really spacious perfect for my family. The food in the hotel and around the pool area were delicious and staff are super friendly, location was Lilttle bit away from the Marina but a lovely walk or a couple off euro in a taxi will take you. Will 100% be back.
Sadly, we will not be returning. There were a few plus points during our stay. The policing of the sunbeds was good, towels removed from those reserving and not using, the control of the mayhem around the pool- the pools are not big enough for all of the jumping and diving…in fact they could control this more! The negatives - this is not a four star hotel. Cheap sun beds all crammed together, dated small rooms with some facilities like the oven not working. Children running riot around the hotel until the early hours and then up early banging around their rooms. If you’re not Irish you will ostracised and made to feel unwelcome - pushed in the pushed on purpose. The pools are too small for all the chaos…people jumping all over and no room to swim. We ended up getting Ubers most days to other places - Mijas, Torremolinos, Puerto Banús to get away from it all. I’ll be complaining to our holiday provider. Really upsetting and disappointing for our family holiday.
I am halfway through my stay here just now. The hotel is lovely and I haven't witnessed a problem getting sunbeds at all and we are not going down to the pool until 11ish.
Rooms are lovely and clean, we are in a 1 bed sea view and it is fine, but a bit small for a couple with 2 teenage sons.
The main reason I wouldn't return unfortunately is due to the pool. I understand safety is important and the lifeguards are probably following rules. However, my boys are bored. There isnt much going on around the pool during the day, but when they try and entertain themselves they are told they can't do this and can't do that. A soft small ball (tennis size), they were told they couldn't throw at each other. I think a ball being thrown is way less annoying than being soaked by water guns which is bizarrely being allowed. Diving...now it is 2.2m deep (which is a safe enough depth for poolside diving), however, nope they get told off for this too. This has been a disappointment as diving and passing a ball back in forward is the main things they do in pool on hols as brothers. Not enough going on round the pool for entertainment other than at 4pm a few days a week for pool party (which are good)
Spent a week here as a family of 4. 2 adults 2 kids age 14 & 12. We had a great time. Really good food in Terazza restaurant. Friendly helpful staff all around the hotel. The cleaning staff are amazing, they came every day to make beds and change towels. Our room was spotless but a little small which is the only reason I wouldn’t return. It was too tight a squeeze with 2 teens and the 2 bed apartments were way overpriced. However I would recommend to families with toddler or small kids. There is panic in the morning for sunbeds. We used to watch it from our balcony with a coffee. One particular family had the same 4 beds all week. One morning I looked out and they had tied emergency red and white tape around 4 beds by the pool. The dad arrived down about 9:30 and took off the tape and put his towels down. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Staff were around the pool but nobody seemed to notice that 4 beds were cordoned off as if broken! It gave us a little giggle in the mornings !
Went here in June 2026 as a family. Kids loved the pool, supermarket was brilliant and so handy. Food was great in the tikki bar and La Terraza Restaurant. Rooms were very clean and checked daily. Location wasn't great, long walk to main shops, bars and restaurants. But our holiday was ruined when my handbag and belongings were stolen from our table at the hotel Panorama Bar (6th Floor). I reported to security and front desk but nothing was done. I was given the wrong address for the police station the following day. I have since tried to contact the hotel by email for a follow up if this incident has been investigated but they have not responded to me. Very disappointing end to family holiday.
