Hotel Club Palia La Roca is conveniently located in the popular Benalmadena Town Center area. Both business travelers and tourists can enjoy the hotel's facilities and services. Facilities for disabled guests, Wi-Fi in public areas, babysitting, restaurant, tours are on the list of things guests can enjoy. All rooms are designed and decorated to make guests feel right at home, and some rooms come with separate living room, non smoking rooms, air conditioning, heating, desk. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere extends to its recreational facilities which include outdoor pool, pool (kids), garden. Friendly staff, great facilities and close proximity to all that Benalmadena has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Hotel Club Palia La Roca.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great hotel it was lovely the pool area opened at 9.30 entertainment was great got everyone involved. Food was delicious different themed nights. We got a pool/bar room which was to small but they changed it
Reception staff very friendly on check in. Our room wasn't quite ready so we stored our bags and went for lunch and when we returned our room was ready.
Our room was on the second floor above reception facing the side road with a partial sea view. We only heard noise from the bar opposite on one night. We slept well. The room was kept clean by the efficient housekeeping staff. It was done by the time we came back from breakfast every day.
Breakfast was not the best. I have intolerances and there wasn't much I could have for breakfast so I had either hard boiled eggs or omelette each day. This didn't bother me but a bit more choice would have been nice. The bacon looked a bit greasy and it wasn't for me.
Lunch and evening meal were better. The food was labelled so I could see what I could eat. Some meals were labelled with 'traces' of allergens but it didn't actually say which ones! So I avoided those foods. I always found something. My only criticism of the food was that it wasn't always hot enough.
The pool was really big and it was a nice area although some parts could have been a bit cleaner. The pool itself was lovely. Perhaps it would be better with grass at the back rather as it would look and feel much better.
The drinks at the bar were nice and the bar staff were friendly.
The animation team worked hard but the evening entertainment was a bit amateur. A singer a couple of nights a week would have been welcome.
We loved sitting on the sofas on the terrace in the evening. A beautiful outlook.
The location is good. Just across the road from the beach where you can walk to the marina along the prom in about 15 minutes. We got the bus when it was too hot but it was actually a nice easy walk along the prom
The park just behind the hotel was beautiful we enjoyed walking around there.
You had to pay for WiFi at the hotel. We had seen reviews that said it wasn't very good so we didn't bother. In 2026 decent WiFi should come as standard
We hired a fridge. It was about 2.5 euros a day.
There's no kettle in the room so we took our own, bought mugs from the supermarket on the corner and made our own drinks to have in the room.
All in all a nice holiday in a nice hotel.
I liked the hotel . The double room we had which was in the main part of the hotel was quite spacious and had been refurnished. It is situated near the beach and has plenty of shops nearby. The room was cleaned often and towels always changed. The pool area was kept nice and clean. there was plenty of activity to join in if you like., and the evening entertainment was very good. We were all inclusive and found the food was very good, with chicken , beef, fish, and lots of salads on offer. they also had nice soup each night as well.
We are currently on day 4 at this hotel. Our stay has been lovely so far. Food is much better than most 4 * hotels we have been to. Plenty of choice at every meal, everything is fresh and well cooked, it has definitely been a positive from us - lots of healthy options too. Desserts are much more varied than usual with is great. Staff are all attentive and welcoming - from the reception staff to waiters. We don't generally join in the entertainment,but looks like people enjoy. Yes, the rooms are dated but clean and functional with everything you need - beds are comfy too and after 11pm the rooms are quiet, so getting plenty of rest. We are on 6th floor with fantastic views. Such a perfect location so close to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the park which is definitely worth a visit. The pool side has plenty of sunbeds so no need to reserve which is always a positive. Our first time in a 3* hotel and we have been impressed. Keep up the good work staff - thank you for a lovely stay!!!
Just returned from a 7 night stay (8 family members). Easy check-in process. Rooms in need of updating; however, cleaned everyday & beds comfortable. We had a lovely view overlooking the pool & beach. Ideal location which I feel was one of the best points - so close to the sea, local restaurants & a 20 min straight walk to the marina. Great entertainment. Numerous activities throughout the day & adequate evening shows. The animation team work so hard. Katerina is absolutely amazing & made my sons holiday great; absolutely went above & beyond. The main criticism is the food. Very average & repetitive. Often luke warm. Not much choice for children - we ended up going out for pizza/chicken on two occasions. Good bar service. Able to get a sunbed everyday. Overall, we had a good holiday. Hotel fair for a 3*. Would we return? Probably not but it was enjoyable.
