We stayed here as a family of 4 in April and could not fault it. The food was great, the drink was great, the entertainment was great. Games during the day which kept the kids occupied and great shows in the evening. Due to it being off peak, one of the pools was closed as was the snack bar, but the main restaurant provided plenty of variety for us to be well fed. The pool opened at 11am, which I felt was a bit late, often by the time the lifeguard had removed the gate from around the pool it was 11.20 and my kids were desperate for a swim. The pool water was absolutely freezing which I imagine in the height of summer would be refreshing but in April it was a bit too cold for me. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided too. I would return to this hotel no problem.
Stayed here with my mam and 3 children, we had a supierior room which was big enough for us all, modern and very clean, this hotel has so much potential if it had a few refurbishments etc the corridors are carpet and dirty, they are dark to which makes for a unpleasant walk back to your room, the main pool area with the Children’s pool could also do with a bit of TLC. The sunbeds are awful, they were dirty and didn’t recline, I sat on a chair the whole time. Desperately need replacing..The daytime entertainment around the pool is brilliant for kids but can’t comment on evening as we ventured out every night. The food was what is expected of a big hotel, dining hall was very loud and people let there young children run around. This of course is not the hotels fault. We enjoyed sitting on the outside terrace. We stayed half board and enjoyed the breakfast more. Benalmadena and surrounding areas are beautiful and would definitely go back but unfortunately not to this hotel.
Stayed a week , ckean hotel , food good but repetative , rooms a good size , bathrooms need updatedand the cirridirs leading to rooms very much in need of updated
Location was up a very steep hill which was not easy in hot weather. Only one lift operated during stay, on arrival days no more than 3 to 4 people could access. We were located on top 7th floor and had to wait forever. The food was varied but was always warm, never hot. The dining area was overrun with kids screaming and running around picking at food , so noisy and poor parenting.. English tv chanels went off on both occasions that England were playing and worked ok after?? Rooms were clean and comfy, no tea/coffee facilities. If you value reasonable quiet and not a free for all in restaurants then stay away from this hotel
Lovely hotel in Benalmadena where we enjoyed seven nights on a family holiday. Two large pools and we never had an issue getting a sun bed. Evening entertainment varied and enjoyable. Good selection of food at meal times, especially for the fish eaters. Happy to recommend.
