Just about 15 minutes’ drive away from Malaga Airport, this elegant and cosy hotel lies only 100 metres from the splendid sandy beach of Costa del Sol, but still offers a beautifully tended outdoor area with a swimming pool for those vacationers who prefer freshwater. Families with small kids will appreciate the children's swimming area, while sports enthusiasts can play a game of squash or tennis or go on a biking trip. For a relaxing moment, guests can visit to the on-site bar and have refreshing drink before dinner in the restaurant. The spacious rooms are elegantly decorated with light and soothing colours to create a comfortable atmosphere. They are well equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a pleasant and memorable stay.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, including an outdoor pool, a steam room and bicycles to rent. Additional features at this Mediterranean hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, tour/ticket assistance and a vending machine.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Been here 8days now. Our 2nd visit. Can not fault this hotel. Managed to get same room as before. All the staff are excellent and clearly enjoy their job. Nothing is too much trouble. Hotel is spotless, food varies always been able to select something we both enjoy. Special mention for Billy restaurant waiting staff, he looked after my wife who has mobility issues, and the reception staff who are all so patient and proffesional. Evening entertainment is varied and reasonable. Hopefully we will be back next year.
The hotel is in a perfect location being ideally situated next to marina harbour and beach and promenade.
This was our second visit and the first time we have visited a resort hotel twice and our third visit to Benalmadena.
The hotel staff team are very welcoming and they are the most positive team we have ever met and are a credit to the business.
On arrival at reception, we were warmly welcomed to the hotel and received a glass of sparkling wine and given our key.
I had emailed earlier to request the same room we had last year as it was very quiet (room 222) and thus was confirmed. The bedroom is a good size, with a balcony and spacious bathroom.
We were very pleased to find that the bath had been replaced with a walk in shower which was especially good for me as I have a struggle with my back getting in and out of baths. We did notice a patch of mould on the ceiling which is likely due to not having an extractor fan so would suggest anti fingal paint is used and/or being cleaned off.
Maria was our main bedroom cleaner, replenished the hot drinks provisions, made up our bed daily and the room was left spotless. When we saw any cleaners, they all greeted us, as did all other staff.
The bed is clearly two single beds pushed together with a large mattress covering them but it had a higher point in the middle and dips in the either side that made me roll over to the edge every nigh. The fitted sheet was nor biiger enough to cover the mattress kept slipping off the corners. We would request a room with two single beds if we visit again as we did not sleep as well as I did the first time.
Catering - The team are also very welcoming and efficient and the choice of food each sitting was perfect for us, being varied with different options available to suit everyone’s taste. My husband celebrated his birthday last year and I mentioned it to one of the waiters, Billy, and he organised a special surprise with our table being decorated with red petals and a bottle of bubbly. This year, we celebrated a special event, Billy organised a similar surprise again.
We used the free spa area most days which has a sauna, steam room, and hydrotherapy pool (have to book in a slot for each day wish to use it). Towels are provided as well as the use of the changing rooms and lockers which has a shower facility also, The spa team are also very welcoming and friendly which is across all teams.
The outdoor sunbathing terrace has plenty of sun beds but would likely not be enough in the height of the season as we could not find any spare sun beds one day so went to the beach instead. There is a bar/snack area for guests to buy from. Also two unheated pools, one for adults snd a smaller one for children but find it too cold to use and s toilet block.
There is entertainment most evenings with performers changing every evening in the internal courtyard. Two of the evenings were very good but the rest were not as professional, with some being too loud to listen to, so we did not stay to watch them.
Would we visit again - definitely - the staff are amazing and go above and beyond which makes for a great experience of staying at the hotel.

I have been going to Costa del Sol for 15 yrs 2 times a year March /sept . This hotel was one of the best the cleaning staff , reception staff, waitress and even the gardener were so friendly. It was spotless clean great activities, entertainment nightly and there spa was so good, well done to the management team for a very well run hotel . Would definitely return in March .
Returned from another fabulous stay at this hotel. The hotel has had an upgrade in the past year. The upgrade to the pool area is excellent with the addition of the the steps into the the pool and the pool is just what you need to cool off. Always plenty of sunbeds and no towels on beds that were vacant all day. Also in the room the new large showers with the twin head; with great pressure. The room was clean daily and the beds are comfortable. The food in the restaurant (we were half board) was excellent, regardless of your palate there is always dishes to suit all tastes. Great orange juice, porridge and coffee with breakfast. Our waiter Rafeal looked after us very well he anticipated our needs eg bottle of water with evening and promptly removed used crockery. The hotel provides a warm welcoming atmosphere. The staff were always polite and professional from our checking in to checking out. The location of the hotel is excellent, the beach is about 20 seconds from the hotel. There are lots of restaurant, bars and shops on the doorstep, without impacting your stay e.g noise levels. We have already booked to return next year.
Great hotel, food and location. 2nd visit and definitely will be back.
