This beautiful hotel is located in Benalmadena, an entertaining and well-connected city in Spain. The airport is about 15 minutes’ drive away. Close to the beach, this complex is surrounded by a big variety of different and fun activities easy to get to by any of the public transportation methods.
Lovely modern hotel in a great central location, close to the Beach, Marina and many Bars. Friendly staff, lovely food and very comfy beds. This was our third visit and we will definitely be back.
Great family hotel! Perfect location and hotel staff all were lovely to deal with. Rooms are modern with nice shower rooms, bins emptied daily and towels changed. I booked the Superior family room but it was no different in size or beds to the standard room. For 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 16’s) it can be a bit tight. We had half board and food was fine. Just what you would expect. We usually changed our meal to have at lunch and there was always something to have and then had dinner out. Large amount of restaurants to pick from. The sun loungers can be a nightmare but only if you have a kids and want specific ones. I preferred the loungers over by snack bar away from the pool as they are quieter. Would highly recommend hotel for location and rooms.
Nice hotel with lots of bar and terrace space situated on the beachfront and only 20 mins ish from Malaga airport. Stayed HB Premium which included the pool, bar and seating/sunbeds on the rooftop which was lovely, although it’s more of an oversized plunge pool. We were also able to eat in the Premium-exclusive restaurant which was quieter and with a chocolate fountain! Food was good although a little repetitive, despite the nightly themes.
Food and drink, including cava, wine and cocktails are reasonably priced although we weren't asked if we wanted to upgrade to full board possibly with drinks incl when we checked-in and which we only spotted advertised in the lifts just as we were departing. That seemed a reasonable upgrade option which we would have taken if offered.
Had room 3415 facing the sea with great views. Room was well kept with 2 double beds, a large bathroom (with 1 sink) and walk-in rain shower with Rituals products.
Easily accessible safe ie not hidden in the wardrobe and lots of storage but only staying for 3 nights so we didn't have much luggage. Biggest room gripe is the attached ‘hairwarmer’ in the bathroom.
Due to a Ryanair flight change, we arrived earlier than we’d wanted or originally planned so had to wait for our room and were advised if we wanted to change clothes, we’d need to use the loos which I'd expect in a 2*.
Also, to note that checkout is, as everywhere, at midday and there are NO courtesy rooms and it was a point-blank ‘No!’ to paying to keep the room for a couple of extra hours and although we could continue to use the facilities, if we wanted to shower before heading off, we’d need to use the ‘communal showers around the pool!’ We'd have looked lovely there with a bar of soap and shampoo!
However, on asking the GM directly, he did kindly arrange for us to have spa vouchers so we used the showers there but there is no hairdryer and no keys available for the door to directly access the patio/sunbeds just outside the spa – you have to walk all the way round past the gym and lifts and through the plant pots.
All the rooms appear to face inwards and the nightly evening entertainment is loud as it echoes around the accommodation blocks.
Pools open at 10 and some of the sunbeds were a little worse for wear and there were queues of people waiting to nab their spot! Like most hotels, towels left on sunbeds all day.
Most staff were friendly and accommodating but we weren’t given a lot of information on checking-in and some of what we were told turned out to be incorrect. It seemed to depend on which staff member checked you in as to what information was given, therefore, some factual sheets along with the resort map on checking-in would have been appreciated.
Hotel best Triton, Benalmadena Málaga. Vast hotel, but well looked after, some underused spaces. Room lovely overlooking the sea and marina. Clean and spacious, comfy bed and toiletries provided . Sometimes had to ask for more coffee pods as they weren't replaced and the same with the towels ! I would of given 5 stars if it had been a bit more disabled friendly, a gate to the promenade and beach has steps which I can't use with a mobility issue and scooter so had to go round once we'd established where to go .. having things on different levels had to use the lifts frequently which you wait for alot !! We only had breakfast here a couple of times and I wasn't that impressed tbh, because it's a big hotel queuing was the norm and the food although edible wasn't for us so went elsewhere. A nice gesture from the hotel on my husband's birthday was a cake and champagne which was appreciated. All in all we had a lovely stay here and wouldn't hesitate in coming back .
The hotel is in a great location central to most things easy to get to Torremolinos for a wander. The check in procedure is slow especially if you are on a early flight like we we're. After a very long day and finally getting our room at about 4 o'clock we we're not very happy with the view. However fair play to the hotel they changed the room the next day. So thank you. The pool was fine we used the quieter one with the cover for winter. But I think it would be b etter if one pool was for adults only. As there are another 2 pools for children. Overall we enjoyed our stay the hotel is very good.
