This marvellous holiday complex is situated in Benalmadena Costa. It lies approximately 10 minutes away from Fuengirola by public transport, and is only 15 km away from Málaga Airport. The property is surrounded by vegetation creating the tranquillity that makes it ideal for a stress-free getaway. The most outstanding element is unquestionably the variety of leisure options, with activities designed for all ages and tastes. The outdoor pool area will be certainly everyone’s favourite. Various health and beauty treatments are provided for visitors who wish to feel refreshed. The rooms are perfectly decorated to create a comfortable atmosphere and make each stay the most pleasant and unforgettable one.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. You can take advantage of recreational amenities such as a nightclub, an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and tour/ticket assistance.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Half way through and the facilities are very good, we have stayed in so many 5 stars hotels before but this is by far the best. I would 100% recommend especially for family’s. There is a shuttle bus every 15 minutes for the main pool. The hotel is that big there is 3 parts of the hotel which is why the shuttle bus comes every 15 minutes take you to any part of the pool/hotel you would like to go. The entertainment and staff are amazing the staff are very friendly and helpful I would 100% recommend
Great team very friendly. Made you very very welcome & involved
Lovely hotel, reps are great but life guards are too strict. Theres a shop in hotel where you can buy balls etc but when you take them in pool your not aloud to use them. I bought a small bat and ball to play with my 5 year old and wasn’t aloud to use it by life guards, ruins the fun!
Rooms are good Food and entertainment is excellent Staff are all friendly Loads to do for the kids
We stayed at the Holiday World Polynesia in August 2026 during the school holidays, for my son's 11th birthday, and had an excellent time.
The hotel is a little out of the way and isn't in the centre of Benalmádena, which was something that initially concerned us before booking. We hired a car from the airport, but we had such a good time at the hotel that we barely used it, taking it out just one day to visit Málaga. There are taxis that wait at the entrance to the hotel.
We stayed in a Junior Suite with a Side view, and it was excellent. We had a view of the sea and water park on one side, and the outdoor theatre on the other. It was a very comfortable room, with two large beds in the main room, and a sofa bed for my son in the living room. It had a fully equipped kitchen, although we didn't really need it as we were all-inclusive, but it was nice to have a fridge. The bathroom was also excellent, with a monsoon shower and a separate bath.
We hadn't previously been on an all-inclusive holiday, but recently in Spain it has become more difficult to spontaneously eat out, with many restaurants requiring reservations.
The food was excellent, with a wide variety of British and Spanish dishes. There was plenty to keep children happy, including pizza, pasta, burgers and hot dogs. And there was plenty of fresh fish like sea bass, grilled meats, salads and paella. Outside of meal times there was also food available at the bar next to the swimming pool.
We never had to queue for drinks, and the drinks were branded rather than generic. The beer was Cruzcampo, the gin was Gordon's. They do have a token system: you hand in a token for your first drink, then return the cup for your next one. This was not strictly enforced; the couple of times we forgot to bring the cups down from our room we were told to just return the new cup before we went up again.
The main pool area was excellent, and the entertainment team and children's club were always organising activities. There was music playing around the pool which was nice and not too loud, the atmosphere was very good.
The "Beach Club" water park was one of the reasons that we booked the hotel, and it did not disappoint. It was particularly good, with a wave pool, a cave pool and loungers in a pool with jacuzzi jets. Food and drinks are also included in the all-inclusive package when you're at the Beach Club.
The best and most unexpected part of the holiday was the evening entertainment. Each of the three hotels in the complex, Polynesia, RIWO and Village, has its own outdoor theatre, and each one puts on a show every night. Guests can also go to the other hotels to see their shows, and use the bars there. The shows were excellent, the Shakira and Rosalia tribute acts could have been the real thing. The magic show and the acrobats were also excellent.
The guests seemed to be roughly half Spanish, with perhaps a third British and the remainder mostly French. The entertainment was in both Spanish and English (which is a good thing).
Our rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel was always very clean.
All in all, I don't think you could find a better place to go on holiday with children, and this was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had.
For an 11-year-old, there was a particularly good balance between things to do independently and things to do as a family: the water park, pool activities, children's entertainment and evening shows meant that everyone had a good time.
