Lovely hotel well worth it's 4* rating with excellent choice of cuisine for both breakfast and evening meals, and an option to swop dinner for lunch if you wished to do so on HB or the AI basis.
Friendly staff who go the extra mile for customer satisfaction, came back to the room one afternoon and the air con was leaking water all over the floor
From reporting the fault the hotel had maintenance and house cleaning there within 5 minutes to fix the problem and mop up all the water 👏
Overall the housekeeping team were excellent with towel changes every day and sheets changed whenever you requested them.
My only (not quite negatives) would be the following....
Not enough bar staff on to deal with the volume of guests
Dining room extremely hot at night, maybe increase the Air conditioning as very stuffy
Would like to see hand gel pumps around the hotel, especially in dining room.
Just suggestions and took nothing away from the wonderful hotel it truly is.

Wasn't sure what to expect as we had never been before. On a friend's recommendation we book and wasn't disappointed 😁. On entering from a late flight the staff where very friendly and accommodating even asking if we had eaten as the restaurant was still open (even though it was last). We where directed to the Málaga Tower (past the casino on the left). 10th floor the room didn't disappoint either. The room was very spacious, spotless and the view was great side sea view. House keeping was round every day. The restaurant was lovely and plenty of choice for all (far too many people moan over nothing). Even my fussy husband 😆. Plenty of sunbeds so no fighting for a bed . Daily entertainment by the splash pool. The grounds were kept clear and tidy. The bars where all very well stocked 🍺🍹🥃🍾🥂. In fact all the staff were really nice. I had read some reviews and had my doubts but I shouldn't have bought reading them, it was nothing like they wrote. Overall we will be back, loved it ⛱️ 🌞 😎
Location bit too far out as nothing within a reasonable walking distance. But easy access to the bus stop just outside hotel & we did a lot of trips to fuengerola & mirimar shopping centre & the marina & malaga. Bought the conscorcio travel card so trips were less than 0.50 cent each way. Brilliant. Hotel room was comfortable with huge bed & television had lots of english channels. Maid was lovely & always cleaned our room. Food - we've had better to be honest. Breakfast omelettes so greasy & bland only tried it once. Food repetitive and not always hot enough. We tried a la carte & really wish we hadn't. Disastrous from start to finish. Soup had a funny taste & not warm enough my main fish course was cold & langoustines not cleaned well. Couldnt eat it. Entertainment wasn't the best at night time. Shows could have been better. We were looking fwd to market round the grounds & it didnt happen. I asked at reception & they didnt know. Overall nice enough hotel but dont think we will return.
Half way through our week today Positives: Clean, bus stop outside, bar area and pool good .Food okay but not special .Plenty of sunbeds available, staff friendly. Lidl opposite Negatives Toilet broke in room & even though reported at 5 pm had to re complain the following morning as not addressed. No apology, not acceptable!! Cocktails not very good & wine a very cheap brand .Alacarte restaurant dreadful far too salty to eat staff never questioned full plates of food left ! Location too far to wander out at night . Pretty average all round, does well for volume of people. Mijas pueblo well worth a visit . Truly can't understand people returning year after year .
Booked for AI plus without realising. The only thing you get extra is the à la carte for 1 night in the week, this was better than the rest of the food but nothing extreme. Many imported drinks were chargeable but not expensive. All other food was cold, bland and bad (not only my words), pizza that you could not cut with a knife, dried pasta, bones or fat in most meats, the pork loin was very dry. Don’t ask me where the photo came from on their website of the pasta because the only place you would see that would be either the à la carte or when you pay for it. The Saphir bar only served food when all other options were not open which was poorly described, we asked for something at 11.50pm only to be told it stops at 11.45pm, even the pastries were chargeable for AI guests. No water in your rooms, all chargeable, this was not the same last year apparently either, so I heard. The lunch buffet at the pool/splash bar (I could not make out which was which) was kids food like hamburger, hotdogs, chicken nuggets, cold meat and cheese, salad etc. I was told by returning guests, that rebooked this instantly from returning last year, that this hotel was brilliant last year and you could order food from a menu that was part of the all inclusive but it is now chargeable. Breakfast omelette was made with cheese that I could not tell you what it was, hard and cold eggs, cold scrambled runny eggs, crappy cheap sausages and bacon. Most of the food was cold unless you went to lunch at 1pm and dinner at 7pm. The only imported drinks were Gordon’s gin, Smirnoff vodka or J B Whiskey. The photos are of the bathroom that is not finished off to a good standard. I would not return to this hotel.
