Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Great hotel. This hotel group and area was unknown to us, but we thought we would give it a try, and we were not disappointed. Room on floor 6 in Malaga tower, great dude sea view which was to us a sea view. Lovely look out. Nice room with facilities. Good sized Ben and nice bathroom set up. Aircon very effective. Food, well we set our standard against another Spanish hotel group and Estival didn’t fail to impress. Great selection and quality of food, could not fault any meal. Nice pool areas, with various seating options, in both sun or shade. Good selection and quality of drinks Definitely will be back
Ok a few negatives, but not enough to spoil things, just stating: The staff who police the use of cabanas could also police the reservation of sunbeds as many reserved with towels and not used until late afternoon after a day out? Couldn’t get booked in the à la carte restaurant due to it being fully booked for our holiday duration, little disappointed with this as couldn’t book any earlier than when we arrived. Casino / Sports bar, not impressed when went into watch the F1, said they would show it but didn’t, ended up watching in my room (guess this is outside of hotels control) Lift situation gets frustrating trying to get a lift,
Will we come back, yes we will
This was our fifth visit to the Hotel Torrequebrada and it didn't disappoint! The location is superb, the hotel has something for everyone and above all the staff are fantastic - from Paco and his staff in the restaurant including Oscar and Alexander, Lorena and Helena in the kitchen, Ximena at the pool bar along with Juan and Virginia in the Saphir bar and everyone else that made our stay so pleasant.
First time at this hotel. Only our second day. Booked with Jet2. Very impressed. The receptionist overheard a Conversation and realised it Was our wedding anniversary during our stay and presented us with a voucher for a bottle of Cava! Spotlessly clean. Our room is very nice despite being their cheapest and has a sea view! The is sunny and helpful. The staff on reception are very friendly and helpful and other staff are smiley and chatty too. The food is wonderful. Lots of choice @ breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of very comfortable areas to sit and relax inside and out. We don’t drink alcohol (sadly) but the bars seem great. Access to tea and coffee and water. Help yourself to wine and soft drinks dispensers in the buffet restaurant. The two adult pools are quiet. Again very clean and the surrounding gardens are kept looking beautiful. Pool towels are 10 euros each - cash only - and you keep them for the week with a refund at the end of the week. A Euro per towel each time should you want a fresh one during the week. You get a token each to use at the Pool Bars to get yourself a plastic cup for the day and you just go back to the Bar for a top up. We brought our own cups. There is a Lidl literally 5 mins walk away should you want to grab shampoo etc or more water. You get a bottle in your room which you can refill in a few Places around the hotel. We haven’t used the family pool or children’s pool but there appears to be lots of sun beds, parasols and covered areas. The beach is course sand and shingle so maybe bring water shoes. But plenty of families appear to be enjoying it. We haven’t checked out local transport yet but there is a bus stop outside the hotel and buses go to Marbella and Malaga. We are having lovely holiday and we have booked to return in May next year with my daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson.

We arrived around lunchtime and our room was already ready for us, and to our surprise we had been upgraded, which was absolutely amazing! 🥰
All of the hotel staff were so cheerful, friendly and helpful — nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The hotel was always clean and very well presented, and the food was plentiful with a great selection available.
One thing we would have liked to see more of was the choice of non-alcoholic drinks and mocktails. There wasn’t a huge selection available, and having a few more options would have been lovely, especially for those who don’t drink alcohol.
The evening entertainment wasn’t the best and only lasted a couple of hours. We found the adult entertainment started around 10pm and lasted around an hour, but I suppose it’s what you make of it and there was still plenty to enjoy.
The daytime entertainment was much more varied. I absolutely loved the aqua fitness and would have loved to join in with the salsa and dance classes too, especially as both myself and my daughter are dancers. 💃🏻
The only thing I would mention is that we were told we couldn’t participate in the dance classes without trainers. I go on holiday to spend my time in flip-flops rather than trainers, so please be aware of this if you’re hoping to take part in the activities — pack your trainers! 👟😂
Overall, we had a fantastic time, met some amazing people and made memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

What can I say about this brilliant hotel. My Wife and I have just returned from a 12 day break to celebrate our Diamond Wedding Anniversary and I wanted something special and boy did I get it. Natalie from Jet 2 kindly went over and beyond to arrange for a large bouquet of flowers to be in our room on arrival and the hotel kindly left a bottle of cava in an ice bucket to welcome us. The room was huge on floor 10 and I got exactly what I requested a high floor quiet room. We have never been in such a lovely well equipped sea view room with plenty of wardrobe space giant bed and cleaned with exceptional dedication by Carmen Nari whose cheerful personality was a joy. The food choice especially salads and fruit was great and well presented and as any of my followers will know the breakfast was superb and in the top three in my reviews and unlike other reviews I didn’t find any problems with hot food. The restaurant staff worked hard and I must mention the most dedicated and hard working waitress Samaira who seemed to be everywhere and the hotel should be proud of her and Carmen. The hotel had plenty of sun beds although umbrellas appeared to be in short supply .We mostly used the beds in the afternoon and always found a suitable pair. I would urge replacement of the old metal sun beds which were uncomfortable and sagging with age and use. My only criticism was the entertainment was very disappointing for a 4 star hotel and may I suggest live music in the main bar where many guests congregated would be very welcome. Anyway would certainly return and recommend this hotel and if you can afford it upgrade to a sea view superior room. Thanks again for making our celebration so special.
