Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 2 outdoor swimming pools, a nightclub and a water slide. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and tour/ticket assistance.
Excellent environment to vacation in with family
Currently here now, this is our second time first time in 2023 and we had the most amazing time..this time has been appalling.
First night we had to be relocated as the beds were swarming with ants. This was at 1am. Yes hotel were great in moving us, but I think they knew that our specific room had an infestation.
The queues are horrific, we have queued for most meals for a considerable amount of time. Terrible for young children standing in the heat for upto half an hour hungry as late as 10pm the queue is beyond belief. The food choice isn’t much better, we remember the food being amazing last time and plenty of choice it’s really gone downhill. Same with the poolside bars, long queues feels like a complete hassle. We’ve even opted to purchase drinks at the shop & order McDonald’s on ubereats just for convenience so it defeats the object of being all inclusive. The take away delivery pizza is wasn’t edible and tasted like cardboard we didn’t eat that.
You have to be up and queuing for a sunbed at 10am when they open if you want to be near the big pool, never have I ever had to do this before, it really is that bad. But if you want to be near your kids in the pool and not miles away prepare to be up and waiting.
The smaller pool at the top of the resort is lovely & always has beds available. We spent a lot of time up there sadly there is no entertainment or anything though so the kids got bored before long.
We have struggled making reservations for restaurants and things that are included in the premium lodges. So that has felt pointless. I booked the spa to be told I can’t have any treatments when i arrived as they have to be booked separately at reception beforehand even though you can book your slot on the app this was not made clear at all. I was really looking forward to an hours break just for myself.
For the money we could have gone somewhere so much nicer but we came back thinking we would have the best week as I have 2 autistic boys and there is everything here they need. But it just feels really disappointing.
For saying it’s designed for children the buggy’s whip up and down the paths between lodges and shout at the kids if they are in the way playing shouting ‘watch your kids!!!’ I find the staff quite rude. The bar staff humiliated my son by laughing at him and talking between themselves in Spanish when he went to get drinks accusing him of being underage even with an adults band and I’d. I had to go and show them his passport, no professionalism whatsoever.
I’ve recommended this place to so many people since coming the first time, I won’t be doing that anymore.
Our stay at Magic Robin Hood was mixed. Although there were some enjoyable aspects, particularly the food and swimming pools, the cleanliness and security issues had a serious impact on our overall experience.
Accommodation and Cleanliness The cabins were a good concept, but the area around our accommodation did not feel clean or properly maintained. We saw cockroaches outside the cabins, which was unpleasant and concerning. Even though they were outside, their presence made us uncomfortable and worried that they might get into the accommodation.
The resort would benefit from more frequent pest-control treatments, improved cleaning around the cabins, and regular checks of the outdoor areas.
Security and Missing Money The most serious issue was that money was stolen from our room. This left us feeling upset and unsafe, as guests should be able to trust that their belongings will remain secure inside their accommodation.
The resort needs to review its room-access procedures, security measures, staff access records, and the availability of secure safes. Any report of missing money should be investigated thoroughly and handled with urgency and professionalism. This incident significantly affected our confidence in the resort.
Food and Dining The food was one of the strongest parts of our stay. For a buffet-style resort, there was a good variety of flavours, main courses, and desserts. The selection offered enough choice for different tastes, and the overall quality was good.
Buffet food can sometimes become repetitive, but we felt there was a reasonable range available. The desserts were also varied, making the dining experience one of the more positive aspects of the holiday.
Swimming Pools The pools were good overall and provided an enjoyable area for swimming and relaxing. However, there was only a small section suitable for floaties and non-swimmers. This made the accessible shallow-water space feel limited, particularly when the pool was busy.
A larger designated area for younger children, less-confident swimmers, and guests using flotation aids would make the pools safer and more enjoyable for families.
Overall Experience Magic Robin Hood has some good facilities, especially the buffet food and pool areas, but our experience was overshadowed by serious concerns. Seeing cockroaches outside the cabins was unpleasant, while having money stolen from our room was unacceptable and made us feel that the accommodation was not secure.
The resort has potential, but stronger pest control, better maintenance, improved security, and more suitable pool space for non-swimmers are needed. Based on our experience, we would find it difficult to recommend the resort without reassurance that these issues have been properly addressed.
Dirty, terrible food and over priced. Premium option is a complete waste of money. Kids enjoyed themselves though.
