The Sol Pelícanos-Ocas resort is located in Benidorm, in Rincón de Loix, and only 300 m from the beautiful Levante Beach and at 2km from the center. Formed by the “Pelícanos” and “Ocas” buildings, this spectacular resort is ideal for family vacations all year round and for discovering one of the most important tourist destinations in the Mediterranean thanks to its privileged climate, beaches and great nightlife. Cribs are free upon request.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Lifts are an absolute nightmare, take ages to come and some stop on every floor which takes forever when you are on the 12th floor. Check in and out is awful and takes hours and gets very busy. They let all the Spanish push to the front when the English queue. The reception staff are beyond rude and extremely unhelpful. Didn’t eat the food as it wasn’t for us. Stayed for the entertainment one night and it was canny. We left some stuff in a drawer when leaving and they won’t answer my emails. Disgusting. Will never return
Well were do I start booked for sol pelicanos ocas booked that one because its more modern than the pelicanos they put us in the pelicanos when I complained they said it the same hotel didn't want to know the food here is questionable there was a weird greese on the plates food wasn't the best ended eating out for the whole trip rooms are clean but dated and battered in a nutshell this place totally rides of the back of the tv show the pools were class but freezing
Stayed here from the 8th September to the 15th September, my 2nd time here and had no issues the 1st time. This time was a bit of an eye opener. They are not disabled friendly, my friends daughter booked separately (independently) along with her other daughter. She has autism plus complex needs, she was treated Absolutely awful down to one member of staff within the snack area laughing and mocking her. This is NOT okay! Secondly most of the women (staff) apart from reception was rude and arrogant, and spoke to us like we was a nothing. Lots of holiday makers was complaining about this. Thirdly, the female security woman was terrible, rude, a bully, told holiday makers they was not allowed to dance or sing to entertainment. Another words sit and be quiet. This same security guard thought it was ok to kick a chair with a 3yr old child sitting on and started to shout at the child who was doing NOTHING wrong. Again many guest was complaining about her also. Our room was cleaned once during our whole stay, and we only got clean towels once because we asked for them. No point booking an early flight as you cannot get in your room until 4pm, however, when we checked out at 12pm we wasnt allowed to use the restaurants though our flights wasnt until 23:35. The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the pool and entertainment was good. But there are plenty others around and we have already booked a different hotel on the same street. My advice would be DONT stay here. Book a different hotel. A holiday is to enjoy not to be dictated what you can and cant do such as singing and dancing.
Just returned home after spending a week at this hotel. Worst holiday of my life Been to Benidorm many many times and this hotel spoilt everything The only positive were the pools Food 1/10 very poor quality breakfast food and some overcooked some undercooked one morning the sausages were freezing in the middle so wasn’t eaten, mushrooms rank boiled in water, bacon like rubber, beans anemic The LIFTS are appalling. Last night we got in the lift to go to the 4th floor. The lift set off and got to around the second floor then a loud bang and juddering and the lift dropped and stopped then dropped again and stopped we couldn’t get out and had to wait till the doors opened it had dropped down to the first floor and was absolutely terrifying My husband has bad hips and we had no choice but to go up the stairs to the 4th floor Another lift was also out of order a good few days The front rotating door wasn’t working at all during our stay so had to use the fire exit door The bedroom well what can I say very very basic No kettle as advertised so we had to go and buy one The bedroom wall was filthy as was the floor felt like I had something stuck on my feet. The bathroom lots of tile grout round the top of the bath was missing and the rest was dirty The grab rail on the wall in the bath was ready to drop off The bidet was missing just pipe work left in the wall where it used to be We arrived Friday no cleaning of our room was done at all Saturday and Sunday and no change of towels We booked a double room but were given a room with 3 beds which made the room extremely tight. The rules around the pool area are like you’re back at school. No food at all round pool have to eat in their bar area and buy their food and drink No balls or lilos Have to give them a disc for a cup or they won’t serve you No room towels to be taken to pool they take them off you Staff very miserable and one guy extremely rude in the snack bar Reception staff also not friendly and some rude Would we return to this hotel most certainly not We only booked this as our usual hotel agir springs was fully booked. We’ve also stayed at the following hotels in Benidorm and never experienced anything like we did at Sol pelicanos ocas We’ve stayed at Flamingo oasis Perla Rio park Agir springs
Asked early on for three rooms lower floors, no response. Put me on 14th floor see you next Tuesday. Miserable señorita on front desk you pay for safe no printer work, no get deposit back! Rooms are 💩 beds like army beds. Pools never been cleaned still got alge from mick garve. Swerve it
