A very poor hotel. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m.; since we were leaving the hotel with the children at 7 a.m., we had to go without eating—you can't even get coffee or water. At 6:30 a.m., I went to ask for an iron for my clothes, but I couldn't get one because they aren't available until 8 a.m.; basically, if you leave before 8, you have no access to anything. Housekeeping came every day but didn't replenish the coffee, water, or any toiletries in the room. There was a lack of staff; there was only one person at the snack bar cooking for two large pools, so you’d wait 10–15 minutes in line just to get a single item
NICE HOTEL
We are still here at the rosamar hotel ,The rooms are cleaned every day the are on the small side but quite adequate, location is perfect close to everywhere, value is very good, but benidorm always is .The service was perfect until yesterday, we was at the main pool bar a short bar man was so rude nearly threw the drink at me plus his attitude was awful (if he worked for me he wouldn't last a week) The rest of the staff have been so kind and friendly, The lifts have been fine no different to any hotel .The food is fine not 4star but Spanish 4star hotels never are but it is fine lots of choice and different evening meals. Would come again even though the pools are on the small side.
Great family experience
Overall a great experience, kids entertainment was top notch(Special thank to (Maria and Patricia ). Location is great with many amenities around, few minutes to the beach front. Great facility and value for a family holiday.
Fab holiday- ignore negative reviews
Rooms - spacious clean and comfortable beds. We stayed in a family room with small kitchen had kettle, microwave and fridge. Had a double bed in there and a pull out bed sofa, and a small table with two chairs. Very nice.
Food - not bad, could find something to eat although majority same food but you won’t go hungry, food isn’t bad at all. Can always find something. We had a late flight, left around 2am in the morning, if you ask the night before they provide you with a little snack bag to leave with. Drink crisps sandwich and fruit. We got these for ourselves and the kids.
Big pool - lovely could be abit bigger but wasn’t a problem to us was nice, plenty of sun beds, gets plenty of sun around there. There is a bar next to the pool.
Entertainment - was okay, but maybe this was because we went in September. Could be better but didn’t spoil our holiday at all.
Splash pool for kids - kept our kids entertained nice little addition to the hotel, was kept cleaned. Plenty of sunbeds and tables to have food next to the splash pool. The snack bar is located near to this pool which is handy, and plenty of seating areas again.
We had an amazing time, and we are returning again next month we cannot wait!
Good family holiday
We came home 23rd aug from a week at rosamar benidorm. On arrival about 1am as we were 3 hrs delayed from manchester, First impressions looked nice, reception staff nice, explained things. We were on 4th floor in family room, good size room, kitchenette and travel cot as requested. So we soon found out lifts are a nightmare, we had a pram, as per there was some very ignorant people who could use the stairs, queing from maybe 8.30ish to go for a sunbed, ridiculous some people literally running and bam bam bam throwing towels on beds 🙄. We managed to get beds each day. Breakfast seemed okay first couple days, after that utter carnage, i made myself and daughter some toast and was about to get butter, and a foreign guy knocked into me, toast went on the floor, i said i cant use that now, he picked it up, put it on side and walked off!!!! Didnt offer to make me anymore say sorry,nothing, i would have offered. Food was okay, had hash browns breakfast first few days then didnt see any after that. Pretty much same each day. Kids had alot of choice, nuggets, chips, pasta, veg, mash fish finger things. Pool was always rammed, couldnt freely swim, only aged between 3 & 12 could the slides be used. Snack bar was pants tbh. Hot dog, burgers, staff could have smiled!!! Toastie could have broke a window, wasnt freshly made. Ice cream pots okay. Drinks not sure if it was a stupid idea or not but u get tokens or meant to on arrival, goto bar and get cups and u can only get a drink if u take the cup back to the bar, if u lose it its 1€ to replace, prob saves them a job collecting them, and stops having multiple drinks at pool. Restaurant staff were nice. Loved my little girl. Day entertainment good, not sure night time as we always went out for a walk sounded okay bit mini disco was 9pm so late for 14month old really. Probably would go again but quieter time of year. It was my husbands birthday whilst there, id blown balloons up and banners in room, later that day a note was pushed under door, for a free spa session, so that was nice, although with having kids we didnt use it but thought was there, so thankyou for that xx
