Ideally situated, just 350 metres from the beach, the Poseidon Resort is close to the town centre too. The Poseidon Resort comprises three buildings: Poseidon, Poseidon Palace, and Poseidon Living - and that means more facilities for you to enjoy. To get from one hotel to the other, you just take a stroll through the beautiful grounds, with its palm trees and swimming pools. Make use of the resorts two outdoor swimming pools - both with beach type access. For the little ones, there are two children's pool as well as the Pulpi Splash Park. There is also a designated adults only area for those looking for some peace and quiet, with sunbeds and whirlpools to relax in. During the winter season, you can relax in the covered pool with whirlpool. To get that full sense of relaxation, why not book yourself in for a massage? Just ask reception for more details!
Life at the Poseidon Resort is very easy. You can choose from some great places to eat and drink, including cafes, bars and restaurants, all within the resort itself. There is a great games room and entertainment for all.
Accommodation at the Poseidon Resort comprises comfortably furnished, well equipped en suite rooms with air conditioning for the summer, and heating for the winter months. For quiet evenings in, there is a satellite TV in every room, as well as telephone, hair dryer, mini fridge, free Wi-Fi and a safety deposit box (at a fee). Every room is a balcony room, so a cool drink or two might come in handy as you sit back, relax and watch the world go by.

Loved It.
On our 9 day trip to Benidorm we stayed in the Poseidon Resort on C.Esperanto.This is a bit of a complex and was the ideal place to explore the new and old town. This was our first stay in this excellent hotel and it was a nice hotel as it had very good amenities.As mentioned we stayed for nine days and we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel complex. The room we had (1003) was spacious and clean as was the hotel.The staff were really friendly and attentive and were a credit to to this hotel. We were half-board and the meals were 1st class in my opinion.A special mention to it's swimming pools which was amazing. All in all a superb hotel in a superb area of this resort and it's a hotel that we'll will stay in again when where next in Benidorm.(This is my first review of the Poseidon Resort).

Don't go here if your staying self catering
To start with our apartment was in a different building outside the resort which we wernt told about then we to a a damage deposit of £150 and 2 months later still no refund which i count as theft .the apartment was in bad state holes and damage throughout the apartment which we took photos off to show staff at reception which we did but there again reception staff had a very abrupt mannor not helpful at all.
3 locations in one name - check where os placed your booking
There is a big difference in quality between Poseidon Apartments, Poseidon Palace , Poseidon Resort so be carefull where is located your reservation as it is not clearly differentiated The buildings are close one to another, placed close to the center and restaurants, and walking distance from the beach. Apartments from the Apartments building are basic from furniture point of view so do not expect luxury We asked for an upgrade to Palace Hotel which it is totally diferent in positive ways. I have only positive feedback: It has very nice rooms. Furniture relatively new and rooms are large enough. Cleaning is done daily. A nice point is that there are many elevators and there are no ques during peak hours

Still waiting for Refund
The apartments itself was clean and location good. My only fault is I'm still waiting for my refund of £150. They told me the refund was done. When I checked my bank it was the opposite they actually tried to take another payment. Luckily my bank declined it. So let's see I keep sending them messages through the booking.com app. Just be careful as I see I'm not the only one that experienced this.
An absolutely amazing stay
I love the resort of Benidorm, been holidaying here for decades ,stayed in so many different hotels ,the choice of hotels in this resort is mind boggling,my twin brother and I chose Poseidon Hotel for a 9 day stay and I must say this was one of the best hotels I've stayed in Benidorm. Walking into this very impressive hotel I knew I would enjoy my stay here ,booked in straight away ,allocated a room on the 10th floor ,room 1003 ,room was light and airy, lots of storage space, flat screen tv with English language channels ,beds comfortable, a fridge and room was spotlessly clean and cleaned daily by wonderful and cheerful staff ,we were half board, the breakfast menu was superb, chefs were funny and very talented as were the staff who cleared the plates ,a big choice of hot and cold meal options,the coffee here was absolutely top notch ,evening meal was really good, varied each night ,totally delicious, the hotel bar's were superb ,beers were always served iced cold and sparkling, the hotel swimming pool was a delight ,enjoyed a swim every day here ,location of the hotel was perfect ,close to the Old Town of Benidorm and the New Town of Benidorm but the overriding theme of what made our stay in this hotel so special were the staff ,they went above and beyond to make each guest ,not just my twin brother and I but all guests feel at home in this hotel ,we will most definitely stay in this hotel again next year when we plan our annual holiday to this most vibrant of sun drenched resorts .
