Amazing hotel. Friendly staff, great food and luxury accommodation. Will definitely be holidaying there again very soon .
This was our first time staying at Port Benidorm, and after reading some of the negative reviews beforehand, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I can honestly say the hotel exceeded our expectations — we absolutely loved it and will definitely return.
Location & Cleanliness The hotel is in a brilliant location: close to everything without feeling overcrowded. Every part of the building felt modern, fresh, and spotless.
Room – Superior Twin with Sea View We stayed in a Superior twin room on the 15th floor, and the sea view was beautiful. Yes, you look past a few high-rise buildings, but that’s Benidorm. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the ocean was one of our favourite parts of the stay. If views matter to you, I’d recommend floors 15–18.
Lifts The lifts seem to be a common complaint, but honestly, they weren’t bad. Another couple told us they’ve improved compared to previous years. You do wait at peak times, and they may stop at several floors, but that’s normal for a tall hotel. If lift waiting bothers you, a high-rise in Benidorm probably isn’t the right choice.
Meals We were half board and really impressed with the food selection. There’s loads of choice, and the only challenge was deciding what to have. It’s buffet-style, so not everything is piping hot — but that’s expected. If you prefer hotter food, there’s a microwave available.
Pool Areas There are two main pools plus a children’s area. The smaller pool is quieter and open to all guests, not just those in the new building. The main pool was excellent, with plenty of steps and even a ramp for easy access. The water temperature was lovely — refreshing without being cold.
Pool Bars There are two pool bars. A useful tip: • All-inclusive guests must use the larger bar at the back (often busier). • Half board guests can pay at either bar. We preferred the smaller one because it was quieter.
Bars & Entertainment There are plenty of places around the hotel to enjoy a drink during the day or in the evenings. The lobby bar is spacious with a lovely outdoor seating area, perfect for a relaxed drink. For something livelier, the sports bar on the lower ground floor offers a louder atmosphere, but you can’t hear it from the lobby, which keeps the main areas peaceful. In the evenings, there’s also entertainment around the pool, including singers, which is ideal if you prefer to stay within the hotel rather than head out. It’s a great option for guests who want a mix of relaxation and atmosphere without leaving the property.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Port Benidorm and couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel offered everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and any minor inconveniences were far outweighed by the quality, comfort, and atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to returning and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Benidorm.
7 Nights at Hotel Port Benidorm My experience was very positive. The hotel is well-located, close to the beach and shops, with several restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The only minor suggestion would be to include a toilet brush in the bathroom. I stayed on a half-board basis, and the food was fresh. While it might not suit everyone's taste, there was a good variety, especially if you enjoy fruit, salads, cold meats, and fresh bread. I did notice a bit of a rush for tea and coffee at times. It might be helpful to offer a starter water in the rooms, especially for first-time guests, to make hot drinks more convenient. One of the best features of the hotel is the pool. It’s very accessible for people with mobility issues, with a thoughtfully designed layout that includes steps partly in the water where you can sit comfortably. However, there are a few loose tiles around the bar area that could be addressed. For those paying for drinks, it’s worth keeping an eye on portion sizes, as the bar staff (in my opinion) tend to serve half measures, even for coffee. The lifts can be a bit of an issue, with some wait time involved. The roof terrace offers lovely views over Benidorm and was a highlight, although the service there was not as attentive as I would have hoped. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor improvements possible
I have read a lot of the reviews on here and disagree with most of them.
This is a lovely hotel well worthy of its 4 stars!
I see comments about food being cold, I have been here 5 nights so far and the food was hot, tasty and freshly prepared. No complaints at all for me.
Bonus that the breakfast sausage is also not hot dog style but british style pork sausage.
No complaints from me staying full board, well done Port Benidorm your staff are great and friendly and I will be back!
