An amazing Hotel
From the time you walk into the Hotel foyer, you think “Ahhhh” Michael on reception was wonderful and the arrival drink was welcoming 💕

The best stay I’ve had in benidorm
First time staying in the old town and it did not disappoint. The mercure is situated around 800m from the bustling streets of old town Benidorm and Tapas alley. Only a 300m Walk to the beach front which was clean, lots of water sports and a really relaxed Costa blancan vibe, certainly much different to the New town. The hotel itself. You are welcomed through the doors by a Mediterranean feel and look via. The reception staff are warm welcoming friendly and speak English fluently if you are unable to communicate through Spanish. The lobby bar reception and eating area form the bottom floor leading you into the fool garden area which makes you feel like your not even in Benidorm. Our room 518 was an upgraded room very spacious and great views over looking the pool. The room was spotless very clean and exactly what we desired. Air con, safe nespresso machine robes and slippers all included combined with a 55 inch TV. My wife and I spent 2 nights 3 days here from the 31st July and I can honestly say one of the best if not the best hotel I have stayed at within Benidorm, compare to levante beach club, Port Benidorm, flamingo, ambassador (all new town). If you are looking to go to new town it is easy enough to order a taxi from reception and make your way there (I paid £8). The food in the hotel (stayed Half Board) was immaculate. Well cooked plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner. Believe me when I say it’s not your standard Benidorm food. There is thought to everything. Friday night we had a live saxophone player serenading the room which chill out music whilst enjoying food. One of the best stays to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Will deffinately be back with our 2 sons. Thank you again to all staff for making this a great experience.
AMAZING
Location walk out to the right is shops then 10 mins walk to beach .which is absolutely amazing .the hotel 5 star cleanliness smells beautiful so clean and fresh very tidy and very welcoming all the staff are amazing here so friendly always chatting.food was off the chart amazing what ever you could want is there .you do not go hungry .highly recommended. Will be returning
Summer getaway
Our stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment.
There were so many issues throughout our stay. Beach towels were never replaced, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, something that is usually standard in hotels of this category.
Housekeeping was very poor. The balcony floor was never cleaned, the bed linen had stains on it, and it smelled extremely strongly of laundry detergent. The smell was so overwhelming that it made it difficult to sleep comfortably every night.
The reception staff were polite enough, and check-in was quick and efficient, but they didn’t seem able or willing to help with any of our concerns.
The bar manager and the staff around the pool were unfriendly and unprofessional.
The only real positive was the food. The buffet was delicious, with a good variety of dishes every day. However, the grill station was a complete failure, they couldn’t even make a proper omelet.
Quite noisy as well, there’s a construction nearby.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We will never return to this hotel, and after this experience, we will also avoid all hotels under this brand.

Exceptional customer service from all the staff and especially Michel who worked on the receptione who went all out to be helpful and very accommodating and jose who worked at the pool area. Food was incredible and the hotel is beautiful definitely be back again.
