THE NOISE FROM BUILDING WORK IN NEXT ROAD IS ON ANOTHER LEVEL. PILLING WORK STARTS AT 08.00-20.00 AND IS SO LOUD. Apparently EasyJet holidays put it in the small print when booking but I certainly didn’t see it. The hotel itself is very nice with ok rooms and staff are nice. It’s not their fault but a separate email from EasyJet warning of this disruption would have been nice. The works will carry on for approximately 1yr.
We arrived and checked in immediately with a glass of bubbles each which was a really nice touch. The staff even prepared us a picnic for our journey home due to our airport transfer collecting us at 2:30am. Our room was modern and spacious with a lovely view of the pool area. The aircon and fan was perfect. The room and whole hotel was absolutely spotless. I cannot fault one single thing. The pool area was stunning and surrounded by beautiful trees with really cool music being played. The vibe was so chilled we even had an afternoon nap on the sun-loungers after a heavy night. The breakfast buffet was delicious with so many options and the lunch time bar meals were simple but excellent quality, particularly the chicken Caesar salad and cocktails. We went out for our evening meals. Absolutely perfect location and only a Short walk to the old town and the beach. We will definitely be staying here again. Beautiful hotel and impeccable service.
Lovely hotel, but pool mostly in the shade, getting a sunbed in the sun was practically impossible, room ok, not quite as advertised but suitable, only downside, massive tree outside our balcony which again blocked the sun, paid for premiere room too!! Building work going on and the noise was relentless, we were not informed of this work and the noise pollution it carried!! Not so much of a nice relaxing peaceful holiday we expected! Wouldn’t come back!
Well day one was really good arrived here early afternoon and our room was ready so went straight to our room unpack and changed our togs for shorts etc and went down to the pool for rest of the afternoon it was quite and very relaxing now this hotel states its a four star but it ain't really you only get one bottle of water per week and thats not even a litre the food was mediocre at best which is a touch disappointing as it's not exactly cheap to stay here day 4 the hen do's turned up they were nothing short of animals screaming and shouting from there balconies to fiends by the pool we woke on Friday and ventured out only to to greeted by pizza 🍕 every where on the floors and walls on our floor and our door card reader had been broken off the door to which my better half stuck back on with nail varnish is worth the price to come here "I'm on the fence at mo could it be better" "absolutely "
We have recently come home from a 4 day break staying at the Mecure. What an oasis of loveliness this hotel is. We had a Standard/ large terrace with loungers room which was spacious, all rooms overlook the pool and gardens which is like a little oasis and very pleasant. Good air condition so unsure why some comments said otherwise. Food was exceptionally tasty and of good quality. Staff were pleasant enough and would greet you at meal times. Reception staff all pleasant and helpful. Yes there were road works outside the hotel on the main connecting road to the beach making way for an under ground garage totally outside the control of the hotel. It didn’t interrupt with our break as we were up and on in the mornings. We went around the pool to catch the last rays of sun around 4pm til 6.30pm before going to shower for dinner and never had an issue getting a sun bed. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this gem of a hotel we would certainly be back.
