The hotel was ok, a bit dated and needs to be upgraded the best thing was the pool. Breakfast again was ok plenty of selection. As for Benidorm as a holiday I wouldn't go back as I prefer a quieter holiday.
After arriving at 12 o’clock, we was told our room wasn’t ready, but the young girl in the level checking area told us she would inform us when the room is ready at 2 o’clock we was told it was ready. We went up to the room and was disgusted. The enamel was off the bath. The frame round the wardrobe was hanging off the wall on the toilet seat was all chipped so I went back downstairs to say the room wasn’t suitable. You’d have to find as a new one which they said they would do,but first the level manager came up. And admitted that the room was disgusting for the money we paid. We had to wait till 5:15 pm. To get a new room. Which was a little better and as apologies they sent us a bottle of fizz up which bearing in mind we was all inclusive The food in the restaurant was very very bland and much the same day in day out this was the worst Melia hotel I have ever stayed in one good point about the hotel was the wonderful staff
Currently staying at the Melia Benidorm. (Level). Check in process for Level customers is great ! You have your own private desk...if you happen to have another guest checking in at the same time....relax and have a drink in the chilled surroundings followed by a member from the level showing both you and your luggage to the room. Ok the room is a little tired from a decor point of view but has all the amenities and things you'd expect of a 4star hotel Clean,tidy and plenty of hot water. It is a large hotel ...but plenty of space both in the lounge and by the pool that you dont feel crowded. The Level lounge for me is a must ! If you're not satisfied with what's on offer or the service the staff provide ,your harder to please than me ! Breakfast , snacks and all day drinks in relaxed surroundings. Main dining room is as expected in a large hotel based on a self serve buffet style...it is big and noisy but what do you expect..there's food to suit all tastes, maybe a little bland but if you want or need something extra there's plenty out there in Benidorm. I would definatley stay here again.
I found the room very dated and dark, my room. Beds very hard could not sleep

It’s no way a 4 star 3 at a push. Only friendly staff are those working at bar next to the entrance most just walk past you.
Really book somewhere I would give the bedroom 2 stars and the fridge was filthy
