Have just come back from a 3 night stay at Hotel Helios. A great hotel, situated close to the nightlife, restaurants and beach. Hotel is spotless, room we stayed in was very spacious, clean, toiletries supplied including toothbrushes, comb and a razor. We received 2 complementary bottles of lager and water and crisps on our day of arrival - which was a nice touch. If you book your stay directly with the hotel you recieve 45 minutes of private use of the spa - steam, sauna and jacuzzi. I also booked a full body and head massage with Mar - it was wonderful. There are plenty of sunbeds available and the life guard was very diligent in removing towels from beds if they were now being used. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, if fact am looking to book next year already.
I stayed at Helios twice in the past year, and I cannot express how wonderful it was. The staff is absolutely perfect at their job, incredibly polite, warm, and attentive. Rooms are great, pool area is amazing, and the food is phenomenal. Truly, I cannot praise Helios, their management and staff enough.
Arrived 1st September for 7 nights. My husband & i have visited this friendly,immaculately clean Hotel for many years .Reception area was lovely and clean and offers an aircondioned seating area .Quick check in with The lovely Angela on reception. Thankyou to all the Staff on reception .You are all amazing ! We booked a Premium double room 8th floor with pool & garden view. Rooms are spacious,with a large balcony .nice bathroom with shower & complimentary toiletries, which was a lovely touch . Theres a safe ,small fridge, large wardrobe, bathrobes & slippers & a coffee pod machine with daily selections of coffees ,teas ,milk & coffeepods ,bottled water throughout our stay . Bed very comfy and the sheets very clean &soft .Our balcony door wouldn't lock but this was rectified within the hour by a lovely polite maintenance man .The hotel as two bars one inside & a pool bar which have an array of hotb& cold drinks on offer & a daily cocktail on the offer board .pool bar also serves lunch time meals which we tried and are very reasonably priced and most of all are delicious 😋. The bar staff are very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A big THANKYOU to each and every one of you again you are all amazing ! .lovely sized walk in pool with life guard ( very friendly )attendance. The hotel also as a spa near the pool area . The restaurant staff are polite & friendly . Its lovely to see actual table cloths on tables ..and the tables to be dressed nice when seated .We booked breakfast & evening meals which we enjoyed muchly .lots of choices ,fish ,sea food ,meats ,soups ,pasta fabulous salads & tapa style bowls .A huge selection of fresh fruit ,pastries & desserts. The Helios hotel is in a fabulous area of Benidorm ,its a short walk to the outdoor market ( Wednesday & sunday) if you want to grab a bargain .its a short walk to the bars& beach and to explore the old town and behond .The hotel is close enough if you want to explore the night life but the hotel does have nighly entertainment on ,Great night in with "LUCIA" twice a week if you want fun & laughter.We watched a lovely new singer Marissa which we really enjoyed too .Well done Marissa ! You did great ! .We hope to see you again. First time at the Helios Hotel in Benidorm. Hotel is in a good central area close to all amenities. Our twin room was on the 1st floor. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Space for hanging clothes shared by myself and wife was a bit tight. Plenty of shelves but no drawers. Bathroom and sink area was spacious and shower cubicle was a good size. Air conditioning was most welcome as was extremely hot at time of holiday. Balcony was a good size. Entrance to our room is by scanning a card but was pleasantly surprised the electrics and lights were not controlled by inserting a card. Just normal switches. Breakfast and dinner provided an excellent choice all buffet style. Swimming pool is a good size but surprisingly not overly deep and could easily stand up at all area's. There are plenty of loungers to go round. No individual parasols but certain areas have a large canopy to provide shade to numerous loungers. Pool opened at 9.30am although advertised as 10am. A small group had formed a queue about 15 mins prior to pool opening. Staff were friendly in all area's. Finally my wife celebrated her Birthday during our stay and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a bottle of wine and sweet delicacies. I can only assume they noticed it from her passport details. A nice touch.
