But staying at the Gala Placidia Hotel can feel just that little bit extra special.

The beach at Levante is one of the region's best too. Lots of clean, golden sand and big horizons. Take it easy, take a dip, or get adventurous and try a few water sports - it's your holiday, make the most of it.

Lovely hotel with lovely friendly staff, food was always plentiful. Rooms are clean and adequate enough for the price you pay! Plenty bars and supermarkets close by amd the beach is within walking distance! Pool area is well kept and always plenty of sumbeds available. We really enjoyed our time here and would definetly return.
We arrived quite late at 11.15pm, checked in quite quickly and smoothly, went straight up to our room. Lovely clean room. Not a pool view but it’s still ok. The adults area has been great always able to get a sun bed. Pool clean a bit cold but lovely area. Drinks and snack bar brilliant. We’ve stayed all inclusive. Food at lunch time is so much better for us than 7.30pm dinner as by then we are very hungry.. food nice, good selection. Only night we didn’t enjoy was the Friday night bbq, the only thing I could mention is more mixed salads would be nice.. breakfast.. my friend very happy with it but I don’t eat full breakfast and have cereal and bread rolls, the milk is warm.. I’ve asked a few times for cold milk and was told not today! A part from that the restaurant is great. Our overall experience has been great. I came when I was 15 to gala placidia with my parents, I’m 55 now so 40 years ago and it’s just as I remember. Been a lovely stay thank you
Location, food excellent No sure of the entertainment or lack of it
This is the type of hotel you go to if u just want an exceptionally clean base to sleep. The pools are clean and very well kept same with the rooms. It’s a good location for bars and restaurants. Found the food border line horrendous but the chips, salad and some breakfast items were ok. The entertainment is woeful at best. It’s not the type of hotel to go all inclusive and stay in your hotel nor is it for families with young children they would be bored to tears. Staff are helpful and friendly the cleaner on floor 4 was outstanding and does an immaculate job Ted and Sergio on reception are also friendly and polite. The noise is just the same in any Benidorm Hotel so didn’t find it an issue. Air con is pretty good. Would I go back? Probably not I like to eat the food I’ve paid for. We did have a great few days away which is what we wanted so it was fine.
Stayed here for a week all inclusive, none of the food was edible apart from the chips at the snack bar. The nuggets at the snack bar were brown inside, absolutely not chicken. Token system for drinks is annoying as they’re so small you lose them then have to pay 3 euros for a replacement. Walls are paper thin so it was noisy at all hours. Beds were like sleeping on a slab of concerete but were cleaned well. Pool area needs some maintenance. Location was good, hill walking up to it was fine, ignore reviews saying it’s a struggle.
