This beautiful hotel is located in Benidorm's tourist centre, only 2 km from the town centre, which is filled with boutiques, cafés, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. There are public transportation links in front of the hotel and there is an excellent golf course just 12 km away. This hotel is ideal for a fun-filled, family holiday under the warm Mediterranean sun. However, hen and stag parties are not allowed at the hotel.

Ambassador Playa Hotel is great. The room service is great, the food is phenomenal. The people generally working there are great, 10 of 10. Location is very good, near the beach. If you like, let's say lively nightlife, this is one of the locations that I would recommend because just across the street from the hotel, there are a lot of pubs and stores. On the other hand, nevertheless the proximity with that places, the hotel itself isolates you from the noise from the street perfectly. Our room was facing the pool and that crowded street. We didn't have any kind of noise. The hotel itself has a great music program, evergreen, country, afternoon house music, very classy, with taste. So, basically, all the possible recommendation for Ambassador Playa Hotel in Benidorm.
Food has gone way downhill and is to repetitive
Love the ambassador 1, west here a couple of years ago and decided to come back, rooms are great, pool yes you have to be up with the farmers to get a lounger, the staff are fantastic and very helpful, restaurant to be fair to the staff they were brilliant but the food OMG we have been here for 8 days now and the repetitive food is mental, out of 8 days they have served Chinese curry that they call korma 4 days the same goes for the battered fish, the shepherd's pie( which changes name every time) and the roast beef is on every second day, i haven't saw any show cooking at all, very poor from the head chef, i would give the breakfast 10 out of 10 but the lunch and dinner 5 out of 10, love the ambassador but the head chef can do one.

We visited the spa for a day experience and weren’t staying at the hotel. On arrival, the lady on reception was welcoming and friendly, although the check-in process was a little slow. We were excited to get into the spa and start relaxing, so a quicker check-in would have been appreciated.
The changing rooms were spotless and smelt amazing, and the spa itself was fantastic. Everything was very clean, well maintained, and had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere.
It was a little busy when we first arrived, so it wasn’t as peaceful as we’d hoped. Thankfully, after about an hour it became much quieter and we were able to properly unwind.
The only downside was another couple in the pool who spent most of the time wrapped around each other kissing, which was a bit distracting and took away from the relaxing environment. Aside from that, we had a really enjoyable visit.
Overall, it was a lovely spa with excellent facilities, and we would definitely visit again.

My 75th Birthday
We have just come back from staying in the Ambassador 1 we have stayed here before.But was not has good.The pool area was terrible 8.30 in the morning was like herd of cattle like a stampede putting towels on the sunbeds and most of them went off for the day and didn’t come back till the afternoon so it was so hard to get a sunbed.The rooms are lovely and clean and the cleaners are so lovely which a can’t say for the bar staff some were very abrupt and couldn’t crack a smile the same in the restaurant the staff are so miserable.The food plenty of choice but to many people due to serving two hotels the queue was terrible we tried different times but still the same. The railway bar you was lucky to get a seat the chairs are so uncomfortable so we gave up in the end but they do have some good acts on. They also have acts outside which are ok. We would not stay here again in the peak months but would in out of season due to the amount of people.
one of the best hotels in benidorm
Just back from staying at the Ambassador Hotel, we had a great time. We stay there twice a year. The hotel is in a great location; the staff is very friendly, and the food is of a good selection and plenty of choice. I cannot fault the food; something to suit all tastes, plenty to do at the pool, and it is very well maintained. The entertainment is good; the rooms are very good and clean. If you are looking for a good hotel to stay in Benidorm, I fully recommend this hotel
