Could not recommend this place highly enough. All the rooms are well appointed. The food is excellent wherever you eat. The staff are so very helpful. Its like a home fro home.

Our vacation in Madeira and our stay at the hotel were among the most delightful experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel offered every amenity imaginable: from the welcome—which immediately made us feel like the most important guests—to the spacious room, room service, fast elevators, and excellent facilities (including both indoor and outdoor pools and the option to swim in the Atlantic Ocean). Finally, regarding the restaurants, the service, and the food quality—words cannot do them justice; it is highly recommended.
We had a very nice experience at this hotel. Fully booked but never had to search for a sunbed. Service is very friendly in the breakfast time. The breakfast was great. Our room was nice and clean and the turn down service great. Our diner at Il Gallo d'Oro was exquisit.
We had a wonderful 5 days at Cliff Bay hotel. Staff absolutely loved amazing. Food excellent and highly recommend it
