Very Relaxing Holiday
We had a fantastic stay at The Quinta Funchal Gardens, we chose this hotel because it was Adults only. The staff were all extremely helpful and very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had seen previous reviews regarding dated carpets and furniture, which to be totally honest didn't impact on our stay at all. The pool area was lovely and clean, and very relaxing. The breakfasts were really good, offering a wide variety. There is a bit of an issue with pigeons congregating when anyone was eating, however, there was a young man walking around with a Harries Hawk scaring the pigeons away, which was a great help. I would like to add pigeons are a problem wherever you dined in Funchal. It wasn't just a hotel problem. We used Room Service once, which was prompt and the food was enjoyable. On our last day we were leaving early for the flight home, and we requested a breakfast, which was provided and was perfectly adequate. My one and only complaint (which isn't a huge one) was there was a hairdryer provided, in a drawer in the dressing table, it couldn't be moved from there, and in our room, there was no mirror close enough to be able dry and style my hair using a mirror. Perhaps a stand up mirror could be provided. All in all, we would highly recommend the Hotel for a stay in Madeira. Thank you to all of the staff.

The hotel located on one of the hill of Funchal and it is around 15 minutes walk to the ciyry. The stay and the atmosphere at the hotel was amazing experience. The Team of the hotel was super welcoming. The room that we have booked with garden was absolutly amazing and super clean and worth much better than a room with a balcony. The rooms are quite and we couldnt hear so much noises from outside or from the other rooms. Value for money 200% I will for sure come back there!

Great stay at Quinta Funchal Gardens
We stayed at the end of June into July, we found it a great place to stay, excellent views, brilliant friendly and helpful staff, our room was very nice, food in the restaurant and bar was lovely, can't really fault it, and adults only so nice and peaceful for a relaxing stay.
