The hotel is located in the perfect spot to access all the delights of Madeira being extremely close to cable car, buses and restaurants. The beach is also right on the doorstep although this is very rocky and so mighty not appeal to them less agile. Hotel facilities are excellent and highly recommended
Stayed for a week late August/September. Great time to visit as no cruise ships! Hotel is well appointed, close to all amenities, restaurants & bars. Easy walk to cable car and marina. Lots of loungers by the pool so even coming back lunchtime you could get a lounger! Hotel is exceptionally clean and well kept. Staff are great and very helpful. We would highly recommend and due to their loyalty programme, we are likely to return. Madeira is a beautiful island
Excellent hotel. Good facilities. Good food, Excellent staff. And right in the middle of the Old Town of Funchal. This was our 14th visit (since 2008), so you can tell that we like it! As a smaller hotel (150 rooms?) it has a real personal touch. Overall, - EXCELLENT.
Hotel is in a perfect spot in old town Funchal. Breakfast was great. The indoor/outdoor pool and spa area was nice. There seemed to be quite a variation in the room types.
A wonderful relax holiday. Our first visit to Madeira and we weren’t disappointed. Staff at the hotel were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return soon.
