The hotel was superb, with a beautiful room, excellent facilities, and lovely surroundings. Carolina was incredibly welcoming when we arrived late, and Sonja was extremely professional, helpful, and attentive with all our requests. All the staff were polite, friendly, and genuinely accommodating throughout our stay. We were so impressed with the hotel and the level of service that we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely choose this hotel again and would be very happy to return in the future.
Superb as always Spa treatments are heavenly. Good course in exceptional condition. Food choice wide ranging. A little noisy in rooms nearest to the hotel entrance. Reception staff very helpful. Table l’dote menu is the best value but readily advertised. Tea house a hidden gem - especially the honey cake. Will definitely be back
We stayed at the hotel as a family for a wedding and could not fault it in any way . The service from the staff was excellent and the grounds/rooms were kept in immaculate condition . The breakfast was a particular highlight for us and had a large variety of food and drinks . Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Madeira :)

Proper 5 star luxury set in a peaceful hill top sanctuary. Beautiful, tasteful, clean and spacious rooms. Fantastic service from the well trained staff. Great spa facilities including indoor and outdoor pool as well as a steam and sauna. A tennis court with rackets and balls provided. Food and drink caters for casual lunches as well as fine dining depending on your requirements. Lovely buffet style breakfast as well as options for eggs anyway. What more could you want. Highly recommend.
