Great location out of the hustle and bustle of the marina. Ten mins walk to a spar and ten mins drive to the main supermarkets , golf courses and marina, A very laid back atmosphere. No fighting for sun beds. We even had two in our massive balcony! Fantastic value for money! I don’t understand the people who complain. Yes it’s dated but it is spotless and they charge accordingly. The cleaners are in everyday. They do a fantastic job! It was quiet and chilled! The restaurant/ snack bar was handy for those times when a trip in to town was too much! The staff were all absolutely lovely! The apartment had everything you can think of! Really well kitted out! Beds were a bit uncomfortable for me but my husband said his was great so that’s just a matter of what you prefer. Pillows great! Uber here is so cheap so if you struggle walking just uber or bolt! Thanks everyone for a great stay!

One tip make sure you protect yourself from the mozzies we were obviously tasty! Everywhere we went even down at villamoura marina we got bitten.
Location was really good & within walking distance to the Marina & Spar for essentials. We had a 1 bedroom apartment (pool view) with steps from our balcony straight to the pool which was great. The rooms are in need of an upgrade & the resort in general needs a bit of attention. With these changes the resort would be excellent.
Just back from a 10 night stay which was perfect in every way. One bed garden view room was bright and spotlessly clean with a sea view-which was an added bonus. Enough room for us with 2 teenage boys. A big thanks to every member of staff. We love the two pools, ping pong table and laid back atmosphere. Everything is clean and well maintained. Hopefully see you next year for our 6th stay!
Great place to stay if you like a relaxing & tranquil break-away from crowds. Reserving of sunbeds is monitored & frowned upon-good! So only come here if you're respectful of others. Everyone tends to eat in their apartments or pool side bar and so there's no mess left round the pool or gardens. Villamora has lots of very uneven pavements-be ware! Pinhal is fab-clean, small & friendly. Stock up at Aldi & top up at Spar. Walk to Marina is easy. Try Braganca Mar & Goldenmarina Chinese.
