It’s a little tired but the staff and facilities make up for it

Nice hotel - but extra charges for beach lounger and water in room
Old hotel but very clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable Staff at reception ok - didn’t explain a lot at check in Pool boys very efficient and friendly Room service fast - food OK - nothing special. Shuttle to beach available but at the hotel beach I was asked 25 euros for sun lounger even as a hotel guest unless you come after 4 pm. Water bottles ( 1 large, 3 small) complimentary a arrival in room but that’s it - you need to pay for water (5 euros for a large bottle) remainder of the stay Pool area and pool nice Nothing to do in the area - car needed to go to a shop - “shopping square” about 10 min drive away with clothes shops, supermarket, bars / restaurants

Amazing 🤩
Just returned from a short weekend break to this fabulous hotel. Absolutely spotless. Can’t believe some of the previous reviews saying about some of the staff “ rude and unfriendly “, we found the complete opposite!! Staff couldn’t do enough to make our holiday so enjoyable. Don’t hesitate to to book, we will definitely return
Really enjoyed our time
Just back from an extremely enjoyable stay at the Ria Park Hotel. We were here for 1 week and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Whilst the hotel decor isn’t very modern, the hotel itself is exceptionally clean and the renovated rooms are lovely. The bed was so comfy too. Pool area was beautiful, although hard to find beds in the sun at times. The free shuttle to and from the beach was ideal, and the doormen were always so accommodating to bring and collect us. Majority of staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but we found some of the more “senior” staff at breakfast in the morning quite rude. The reception staff and doormen were so kind and accommodating always, and were so helpful in keeping our bags on the day of our check out, as we weren’t flying til that night. Location is really good- only a short Uber to most of the restaurants and the free shuttle by the hotel for the beach was so handy. There is no supermarket near which was a bit inconvenient, as we had to get an Uber to and from Quinta Shopping to the nearest Pingo Doce. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!
Not great
The Hotel is lovely and clean the staff however is a different story .we have been here 2 days and I have had to complain 3 times about the poor /lack of service . Today I had to wait over an hour for a drink totally unacceptable for a 5 star hotel and when I complained I was told a cocktail is tricky to make !!! It is such a shame that this hotel hasn’t quite got it right
