Lovely hotel, atmosphere and service
Beautiful residence in quiet area in the middle of the charming city of Tavira. Very friendly and helpful personnel everywhere from the reception to the bar and restaurant. The museeum sorroundings give it an ekstra touch of atmosphere. We travelled with our grown up kids and stayed one week. We had two superior rooms with a beautiful view of the city from our balcony’s. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time in Tavira

Wonderful place to relax for a few days

Outstanding Hotel and Staff
Wow - I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were fantastic, arriving at reception we were greeted and shown to our room with enthusiasm about Tavira, its history and the hotel - what a great welcome. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted with a smile from all the staff and even the breakfast/bar manager was on the floor every morning greeting guests and making recommendations. A thank you to Vikas who made us feel welcome both at breakfast and around the pool. Artur and Luis both stood out and made fantastic cocktails in the evening - even ones not on the menu (and they both made a great Old Fashioned). The pool area was never busy and very relaxing and the rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day. We didn’t catch the name of the young lady at reception who kindly booked us into a restaurant on Sunday but she was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area and restaurants (she welcomed us as the start of our holiday as well). Can’t wait to return.

A fabulous serene retreat
I hate to post this because I do not want to find the Pousada fully booked when I next want to go! Anyway, what a wonderful place to stay, I highly rewcommend this as the best place to stay in the area. it has historical significance and is totally charming. It is quiet and serene. The staff are unobstrusive but friendly and attentive. I had an absolutely fabulous time with no complaints at all.
