Built in 2004, this complex comprises a total of 96 apartments as well as 2,000 m² of pleasant gardens. Located close to the beach, guests are welcomed in the foyer with a reception area, a safe and a currency exchange desk. Further facilities include an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant, a bar, a café, Internet access (for an added fee), WLAN access point and a TV room. Room service and laundry service, as well as bicycle rental, are also included in the facilities. Younger guests are offered a kids club and a playground to let off steam. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities including a fitness centre and bicycles to rent. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, a communal living room and tour/ticket assistance. The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze.

Really welcoming atmosphere with polite and friendly staff throughout the hotel. The hotel was really clean and well maintained throughout our stay.
Food was well varied with something for everyone everyday through breakfast lunch and dinner. We had dinner one night at The Grill which was excellent and a really nice change from the buffet.
Good selection of drinks in the standard all inclusive package. The self serve wine was a particular highlight.
Really good size room with a comfy bed and a great pool side and sea view, well worth paying extra for. It was also really nice that we could listen to the DJ in the afternoon/evening from our room while getting ready for the evening.
Great size main pool and it was a welcome bonus that there were absolutely no sunbed wars, with plenty of space all throughout the day.
Evenings were particularly enjoyable with a drink at the rooftop bar which has an amazing view of the sunset, followed by really nice and varied entertainment in the evenings. The pool on the rooftop is also a really nice place if you don't fancy the main pool.

Lovely clean Hotel, rooms are fresh and new, amazing shower. Pool very nice. No inflatables allowed. Security keep loud guests quiet. View over carpark wasn't pretty. Would love to go back but unfortunately the food was awful. Such a shame, could be the perfect hotel if the food was improved. If we returned it would have to be Hotel only.
Hotel close to river able to see birdlife including flamingos by the salt pans.
In my opinion this is not a 4 star hotel, unfortunately towards the end of our ten day stay we experienced food poisoning possibly from the buffet since we had not eaten anywhere else. Drinking glasses often had orange residue as they not been checked for cleanliness thoroughly. There are many sparrows that scavenge from the dining tables and they perch on the rope surrounding the dining terrace!
We have just had a delightful holiday at AP Cabanos Beach. The staff were particularly good, friendly, efficient and interesting. We particularly enjoyed the efforts of the three young staff that ran the Aqua gym and Zumba. We also visited the spa which was good. The rooms were comfortable, clean and serviced well and the food and drinks were enhanced by being plentiful and varied. Thank you for a nice relaxing stay
I would like to say what a splendid hotel this is and what a great week my wife and I and our friends we came with had. The food was plentiful from breakfast to lunch and on to dinner, with plenty of choice to please all. The hotel is modern and kept very clean, and our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels replenished as and when we required them. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk into Cabanas, with its wide choice of bars and restaurants. The hotel is set in the nature reserve with plenty of walks. The pool is lovely and large, with plenty of sun beds and parasols. The staff are great and the rooftop bar is a great place to enjoy an evening drink before dinner. The entertainment staff were as the word says, very entertaining and full of energy. The only recommendations I could say to the hotel management is that as we arrived late ( 00:30 ) we could not get a drink as the bars shut at ( 00:00 ). I know that if you were to leave welcome wine at reception for people who were checking in, that other guests would just start helping themselves to it after the bars had shut, but you could do what the AP Maria Nova in Tavira does and keep it in the office and offer a drink whilst checking in. Also the Ria restaurant could be made a little more like a restaurant and less like a office cafeteria. Other than that we and our friends hope to return same time next year, hopefully in the same rooms 😁
