Located right in the middle of Quinta do Lago golf courses. Each villa has its own swimming pool and there is one general pool area at the Clubhouse with a wide range of accommodation, all villas have the necessary amenities to make you feel just like home. It has family-friendly dining and service with an interesting and extensive children's menus. Space is a luxury for family-time, with activities such as golf, tennis and horse-riding all only minutes away within Quinta do Lago, the hotel go that extra mile for a wonderful holiday for both parents and their children!

Lovely luxury villa
We had a beautiful villa, 108 which was one of the superior villas. For a family of 4 with two kids 11 and 13 it worked very well. The small plunge pool was amazing the kids were in it all day.
Main complex has a good sized outdoor pool and another indoor pool which was always empty so we went there a few times too. The gym was well equipped but no lock on it so a few times there were unsupervised kids in there which wasn’t great. There is a key card on door but presumably wasn’t working. Food by pool was nice but in the evening you need mozzie spray and take antihistamine cream in August anyway.
We didn’t hire a car but made the most of walking out of the resort down to the beach and to the other restaurants nearby- Koko was our favourite and near there is a much better shop to the one on site - SPAR - the one on site has the basics but that’s all.

We stayed last minute at the Martinhal as we were badly let down by another hotel! And thankfully so!! We had the most amazing time! While I will acknowledge the accommodation we had which was booked last minute was a bit dated that is on us! Outside of this I cannot say enough great things - the staff everyone at the MBar and a huge shout out to Lilia and Sara at the kids club our daughter literally begged to go everyday and didn’t want to leave! It was so clean and the little extras like welcome gifts are unbelievable! Honestly it took what started as a disaster holiday to the best we have ever had! We are already booked again for later this year choosing some of the more updated accommodation! Thank you for having us!

Exceptional Experience at Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts
Absolutely excellent stay at Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts in Quinta do Lago! Impeccable service, beautiful and spacious rooms, and stunning surroundings. The family-friendly atmosphere combined with luxury amenities made our stay unforgettable. Perfect location for relaxation and quality time. Amazing resort, even better staff.
A really fantastic resort, very quiet and peaceful but still a great kids area around the pool. Very safe and small enough that you can see the kids at all times. Great food on site, including great kids options and the staff are amazing. Villas are stunning and so well equipped with everything you could need. One of our kids had a fall and hurt his arm (these things happen) and the staff could not do enough for us, taxi organised, hospital recommended, checked in afterwards with little goodie bags and even some ice cream to help healing. At stressful times, knowing there are dedicated and really nice staff just makes everything so much easier. Will definitely be back!
Don’t want to leave
Have been coming to Martinhal Quinta for over seven years and it never disappoints. The four bedroom villas are comfortable spacious and well equipped although some are a bit dated. Any issues are quickly and efficiently dealt with. Daily maid service is a bonus and all the staff are welcoming and courteous - we are always greeted enthusiastically. Enjoyed the heated outdoor pool in March this year as weather was variable- breakfasts and lunch were delicious and our granddaughter loved the trampoline. Cant imaging finding anywhere else that meets our needs so well and can’t wait for our next visit.
