Check in process was quick and efficient, staff member was polite and friendly.
Room was spacious and exceptionally well cleaned. Large and very comfortable bed. Plenty of necessities in the room, we were greeted to a bottle of sparkling wine and plate of fruit for our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. Bath robes were super soft and the room had all the amenities you would need. Room was cleaned daily and there was a turndown service every evening. The male housekeeping staff member who cleaned our room, 636 did an excellent job. Balcony was a good size.
Breakfast was lovely, service was quick and staff were friendly.
We only used the sereno pool, it was cold but refreshing. There appeared to be no sunbed ‘hogging’, we usually went to the pool around 10am and had beds during our 4 night stay, most of them were full by around 11am.
Atmosphere was calm and relaxing throughout the hotel. Popular hotel among golf users by the looks of it, as the golf courses around the hotel were stunning.
Hotel provided a bus service to the beach every hour from 9am until around dinner time.
We didn’t eat at the restaurants during the evening.
There is a small village opposite the hotel with a couple of bars and places to eat, also a supermarket.
Gym was an ok size, never busy so you could use any machine you wanted.
Spa looked and smelt lovely - although we didn’t use it.
We had drinks at the main cocktail bar and there was a nice atmosphere there around 7/8pm.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Our second time here in 8 weeks! Truly love this hotel. The staff are amazing. Anything you need / want is never a problem. Great food and drinks. Beautiful room with good quality toiletries. We will definitely be returning in the new year.
Great gardens and location, but notes disappointing five-star service and warm room temperatures. Beautiful grounds and a wonderful location make for a pleasant setting, but the five-star price tag sets expectations that weren't quite met. While the breakfast staff were expedient when asked, the service felt perfunctory rather than proactive. Additionally, the air conditioning in both the room and the gym stayed uncomfortably warm even on its lowest setting, which negatively impacted sleep quality. It is far from the worst hotel, but for a top-end property, it falls short, and we probably won't be returning.
An excellent 5 nights where we were well looked after with room spacious and cleaned to a high standard. Service levels around the pool are excellent with nice wee touches of a helping of fruit in the morning and sweet of some sort in the afternoons. Breakfast in or outside with a huge variety of choice.
PARADISE PARADISE PARADISE ! From the moment you drive up the approach to the moment you leave. The staff are attentive in every department. The hospitality standards are exemplary. Nothing goes unnoticed nothing is ever a problem and every single employee greets you as a special guest . No wonder we didn’t want to leave . The pool Staff are warm caring and also attentive making each and every guest feel special . Celia is superb !!! Her knowledge re the hotel and her personal touch with hotel guests is quite remarkable . The hotel and surroundings are immaculate as are all the staff . We simply cannot wait to book again .
