PERFECT stay in every way.
Our 3rd visit to Olhao, what a fantastic hotel to discover! Far exceeded our expectations, which were high based on reviews we'd seen!. Spotlessly clean, room had all the facilities we needed, amazing rooftop pool and bar, relaxing vibe, delicious breakfast - all in a good location for enjoying all Olhao has to offer. The staff went above and beyond to help, were attentive, friendly, relaxed and obviously enjoy working there. I have a 'special' birthday next year and have been asked by family what I'd like to do, which I've previously said 'no idea'. We will be booking this hotel! Thank you to the staff at the hotel for a perfect stay.

Fantastic hotel,great location
Lovely hotel. Loved the rooftop bar with great service and reasonable prices. Good breakfast selection. Olhao is a lovely town with lots of bars and restaurants.
Beautiful hotel and lovely town
We stayed here for 3 days just for a short break, we have never visited this place in portugal but i would 100% recommend. As soon as we entered we were greeted with a lovely welcome from Diogo at reception i think his name was. He was very informative giving us suggestions of where to visit as we had never been here, we then went for a drink at the rooftop bar this was stunning, drinks really good! The rooms were very clean, modern no issues whatsoever bed very comfortable too☺️we then tried breakfast on our last day and was so tasty so many options, very good choice of options! Staff were all so friendly also, could not fault anything with hotel😊will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Wow! What a place! We will always come back to Pure Formosa whenever we are in Olhão. Stunning hotel with very friendly staff! The cleanliness is 5 star! Thank you so much for having us ❤️
A great choice if looking to stay in Olhão
The Pure Formosa hotel in Olhão is a short 20 minute Uber ride from Faro airport and should cost you around €12 so you can relax into your holiday sooner rather than later.
Checking in was quick and efficient and soon in my superior room which was located on the 4th floor facing the town and the port. Superior rooms have a narrow balcony on which you can sit out on if that is something that appeals to you.
The rooms are bijou but everything is thought of to make the best use of the available space. The open wardrobe had 10 hangers so just enough to share between 2. There is not a lot of storage space but it's all manageable. There is a kettle and fridge, a complimentary bottle of filtered water which does not get refilled during your stay - why not ?
The bed was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was perfectly serviceable but again a little tight on counter space so not much room for your toiletries and the like. The shower was easy to use and the gels & shampoos had a lovely smell and felt luxurious, towels were of good quality too. Sadly, the balcony table was chipped and in need of replacing otherwise everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and well looked after. The AC worked well as did the wifi.
Breakfast is excellent so it is worth booking the bed & breakfast rate. Good quality O.J.and smoothies. Scrambled egg and bacon was available in the bain-maries and pretty good, the egg was not overcooked and had a lovely texture. Great selection of cold cuts, cheeses and fruit. The selection of breads, pasties and rolls was impressive too, a great start to your day. Coffee machine was easy to use - just select your language first.
The rooftop was amazing and a great spot to relax at anytime of the day. There is a lot of loungers and no-one seemed to be "reserving beds" as sometimes is the case. The views over Olhão were great and the drinks reasonably priced. The location is second to none, you are a short walk to the train station and to the port area for the bars, restaurants & ferries to the islands, a great place to stay if in looking to holiday in Olhão.
