We are currently staying at Hotel Alcazar and we really cannot fault it. The staff are so helpful, friendly and approachable. The food is very good with a good selection to suit all tastes. The rooms are very spacious and are cleaned daily. Pool towels are available with the token you're given on arrival. There are plenty of bars and restaurants locally if you wanted a change. Beach is also very nice and you can hire 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for €20. This is our 5th visit to this hotel and we will be back again! If you like a coffee in your room in the morning, bring a travel kettle as there are no facilities to make one in the rooms.
One week stay in June. Shared twin room. Room was clean, though they should really brush & mop under the beds. Bit dusty. Took my own kettle after reading other reviews ( fold down silicone £10 Amazon), asked for china cups from reception. Though not sure why rooms don't have coffee/tea making facilities. Handy fridge, asked reception for paper cups for our colds drinks! Beds made every day & clean towels .Quiet hotel, our room overlooked road . No problem with noise. Friendly staff, food is good. No ceral available for breakfast! Cooked, yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries etc. Had one evening meal ( buffet style). 10 mins walk to beach & plenty of places to eat out ,all walking distance. Supermarkets for drinks for your fridge located nearby. Overall happy stay.
Never been to this area before and what a lovely surprise. The hotel is first class. We had a junior suit on the first floor and it was perfect. Cleaned everyday and towels changed. We were half board. Again could not fault the food lots of choice but not too much something for everyone. Pool area was quiet so you could get a sun-bed with no problem and at anytime. Lovely snack bar around the poolside and very reasonable. We only had drinks but the prices were cheap. This is the first time we have stayed at a hotel in 20 years as we normally stay in villas and this hotel is perfectly ran all the staff were friendly and polite.
Had a great stay at The Alcazar mid May 2026. Modern bedrooms and public areas were spotless. Staff were lovely and so welcoming - from Reception; the Bar and the Restaurant. Plenty of options for breakfast - but will hotels ever fix those flippin toasters??!! Nightly entertainment was 'low key' but nothing on Sunday or Monday (might be different in high season?) Not far to some great restaurants with good 'tourist' deals in the evening .. and that beach and it's boardwalk were totally beautiful.
Had an amazing Spa experience today with my sister, both the therapists who did our treatments were extremely friendly, kind & professional. The best facial and massage I have ever had. I would highly recommend it. The only negative was the pool area & water were very hot but I assume that's part of the relaxation experience.
