Best thing about the hotel was location. Food was awful not that of a 5 star, drinks was awful “banana cocktails” we had a junior suite and it was just like a premier inn. Staff was rude and unhelpful Overall wouldn’t never stay at this brand again
We stayed here for a week to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday. There were about 100 of us and the hotel was quite accommodating.
It’s really quiet and serene. We stayed in 2 rooms during our stay, upgrading to the suite with a private pool for the last 2 nights.
Rooms are large and reallyclean. Bathroom really big. Bathtub right by the bed a bit jarring at firstbut we got used to it very quickly. The shower head was heavenly. Large and amazing. Really clean. Customer service top notch.
Went on a family holiday at the end of July stayed for a week. In a perfect location, just a short walk to the beach, a 25 minute walk into the town along the beach. We went into town a few nights and got there by taxi. Bolt is incredible. cost us under €10 to get there and back. The hotel staff were very welcoming and the hotel was very clean and tidy. As soon as we arrived cases got taken off our transport and put straight to the side ready to go into our room. Got offered water or a glass of prosecco on arrival. Wristbands were put on straight away, if all inclusive kids and adults have different coloured wristbands to distinguish the difference, went straight to lunch when we got there. Food was amazing quality although there isn’t a huge selection. Each night there was a different theme e.g mexican. Desserts were very nice and a lot of choice. Every lunch and evening meal there was pizza and pasta so choice for picky eaters. At dinner there was a kids section, slightly more basic food. All foods were labelled with different allergens. Evening entertainment was good, had different things every night. Activities all day and every day e.g cookery class, wine tasting. water carpet, aqua gym etc. Beds very comfy. Hotels rooms were always kept clean and mini bar was stocked up every day. No noise at night very easy to sleep at night. The atmosphere was very welcoming and positive. Shoutout to Omar in the kitchen, he cooked pasta for me most nights and was very friendly. Max was one of the waiters and was straight to our table asking for drinks and ensuring everything was okay. Marcus was also another waiter he was so friendly and always made a conversation. Sergio from the lobby bar made us drinks a lot of nights and service was always quick.
We stayed at the end of July with all inclusive and it was very good. Pools were chilly in the morning but warmed up. Rooms were clean and looked good with daily room service. The hotel had good food and drink available throughout the day. The staff were very friendly and welcoming particularly Max, Sergio and Marcus, who made our stay welcoming and enjoyable, they were often our waiters in the restaurant and regularly serving on the bar. The chefs provided personalised food choices of eggs, pasta and grilled meat. Omar and Paratha (omelette man), some of the chefs, were amazing serving pasta and eggs daily with a warm smile and friendly tone. The hotel location was very good, 5 mins from the beach and 20 min walk from Lagos along the boardwalks. The atmosphere around the whole hotel was very positive and overall we had an amazing stay which was invigorated by the amazing staff like Omar and Paratha, and Sergio, Max and Marcus.
We stayed for two weeks in July and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed B&B because we wanted to explore the local restaurants and can highly recommend this approach. We did eat in the hotel one night and it was amazing. Loads of choices of fresh high quality food. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff were always very friendly and professional. The restaurant area overlooks the pool and sea, and with ample space, is a lovely place to eat. My only slight grumble was the bar staff, at the poolside and main lobby bar, didn’t seem to know what gluten-free beer was for a while, let alone stock it. I asked twice at reception before a duty manager assured me it would be stocked in all the bars. The hotel later made a nice gesture of leaving a gluten-free brownie in our room to acknowledge the dietary requirement. However, only 3-4 days later they ran out of beer. I’m sure it wasn’t all me.! I actually found it strange how many bars in Lagos didn’t know what gluten-free beer was, and often didn’t cater for this diet, because in Spain it’s very common. Location wise, the hotel is on the seafront but separated from the beach by a road and rail track. The beaches are very clean and not crowded this far out of town. It’s a short drive or longer walk into Lagos harbour and old town where there are hundreds of great bars and restaurants. We often walked in and taxied back for €5-€9. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and is modern, calm and comfortable. Our rooms were cleaned every day and beds turned down each night. The rooms have an open bathroom with a cool mirrored toilet/shower door. We liked it but I’m not sure our teenage kids appreciated that.!? The pools were both spotless too, with some entertainment at the main pool area most days. On that, our kids are teenagers and were bored stiff. There is no activities or sports for teens and nowhere for them to gather and meet others. We saw plenty bored teenagers but they’re not great at making friends unless there’s a reason to meet. Not even a pool table. We thought a beach volleyball pitch/tennis court at the lower pool area would be a great addition and probably tempt us back. Without that though we’d probably look for something more suitable for the whole family.
