This wonderful establishment enjoys a paradisiacal location, Faro Airport is only a 40-minute drive from the hotel, it is very close from the picturesque village of Ferragudo where guests can take leisurely walks and within easy reach from the most breath-taking, sandy beaches with crystal-clear waters and stunning sea cliffs that will capture the attention of all travellers. Guests may also play a round of golf at the nearby golf courses 5 minutes away or enjoy the vibrant nightlife of Praia da Rocha. This is an ideal choice of accommodation when travelling with children, as the property has a fantastic outdoor pool, among other areas to play or leasure with whole family. Each accommodation unit includes all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, such as a fully-equipped home appliances in the flats. All guest rooms and flats are tastefully decorated with modern materials and offer access to balcony or terrace where guests can sit and enjoy the beautiful view.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just back from Vitors Village,Ferragudo, Portugal. I’d read other reviews and they all seemed positive and boy were they right. Vitors Village accommodation set around a large swimming pool area set In lovely grounds was a delight. Accommodation was good, we had an apartment in the Pernalta block, with a terrace over looking the river, it was clean well equipped and ideal for the two of us. Cleaned everyday, towels changed when needed and the cleaning staff were lovely and friendly. We had booked on a half board basis and the choice of foods at breakfast and the evening meal were very good with lovely friendly waiting staff. The evening meal was a choice of starters, main courses and sweets, to good , my partner put on six pounds !!! The walk into Ferragudo was an easy downhill five minutes, the five minutes more round to the harbour and through the side streets and the choice of food on offer was very good from high end to budget. From the harbour you can take the water ferry to Prai Roche or Portimau, not to expensive and well worth a visit. From the harbour you can also book cruises to the caves or river boat trips to Silves or Alvor for wine tasting, we did the river cruise to Silves, small boat , skipper and only four of us, really good trip, skipper was entertaining,funny and informative, port tasting in Silves on the boat was good fun, with the skipper insisting on giving us as much as we wanted. He also took us to see the wild Flamingoes on the river , not guaranteed to be seen, but well worth it if you get to see them Overall I would definitely recommend Vitors Village and Ferragudo. Only one comment, it was described by Tui as adult only, it’s not, there were children there, but they were well behaved and unobtrusive. Only advice I would give is just go BnB, food at Vitors very good ( I put on four pounds!) but it’s nice to try different restaurants as well. Definitely would recommend.
This was an absolutely wonderful hotel. The apartment style room was a game changer ,immaculately clean with lots of space. The village type feel was a big hit with our children. Breakfast was lovely and most of the staff were great. The only tiny gripe I have was with the organisation of dinner. The food was lovely, however the staff appeared quite stressed which led to some tense exchanges with the staff and guests. You have to book a table even if you're half board and you order off a limited menu. The staff struggled to cope with the demand and of course people turning up at different times to their bookings. The night they did a buffet all the staff were so much more relaxed, as were the guests. I will be honest this little issue impacted on the relaxed feel of the holiday. They should do a buffet every night! But this doesn't stop it from being a 10/10 experience. Love this place.
What a fantastic place to stay We have just returned after a brilliant two weeks with a family of 14. This included 7 adults and 7 children including a 10 week old baby. We had four separate apartments On arrival the check in process was easy and straight forward. The rooms were spacious and well laid out and very clean. In fact the cleaners came every day and everything was spotless all the time we were there. There is a small gallery area with a two ring electric hob and a fridge and coffee maker. Kettle and toaster are provided and all the crockery, glasses and cutlery you will need. There is also a microwave. Hair dryer and iron is provided and there is a safe. Beds were comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. It would have been nice to have a bigger fridge freezer but the one provided was perfectly adequate. We had a lovely balcony and the ground floor apartments had a nice patio area. There is a table and four chairs and a clothes dryer on them too. The pool area is clean and spacious with plenty of sun beds and parasols The area opens at 9:30 when the gates are opened. A small queue develops about 9:20 for access to the sun beds but it is very civilised. Just a bit disappointing that people would put their towels on the sun beds but not appear till the afternoon. The outside seating area near the bar is nice with comfy with seats mostly in the shade. The bar is quite expensive but it has a wide array of drinks. I can’t comment on any of the food as we didn’t eat here. The little shop will provide you with most of what you need but again it is expensive compared to what you will get in the village. There are large changing rooms with showers etc just by the pool area. As people have said there a two main ways to get down to the village but once you are down there it’s lovely with loads of places to eat. More than we anticipated. Veggies may struggle a bit unless you like fish as the choice is not extensive If someone had the foresight to open a Vegetarian restaurant they would make a fortune. We throughly enjoyed our holiday in Ferragudo and Viters Village is the place to stay. It’s lovely and highly recommended
Beautiful hotel, lovely location. The rooms were perfect. We had an issue with our Aircon and they moved us to the next day to an upgraded room. The staff were lovely, the on site shop was perfect for everything. We hope to come back next year
We have just returned from a 1 week stay at Vitors village and had the most fantastic time. The hotel is great - clean, spacious apartments, lovely pool area and beautiful grounds with a view over Ferragudo. For us it was perfect as we don't like the all inclusive, "brits abroad' vibe, prefer a much quieter and slow paced holiday which this is perfect for. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, we are a family of 3 and it was more than enough room. The hotel staff are lovely, in fact we found all the Portuguese very welcoming and family orientated. Ferragudo is on the small side but still plenty of fantastic restaurants. We also took trips to Zoomarine (fantastic day out!), Lagos and a boat trip to see the caves. Ubers are easily accessible and super cheap. There is a lidl less than a mile away so can stock up on the essentials for breakfast/lunch. We even had an u expected hospital trip as our daughter was poorly - the Portuguese version of 111 was really easy & referred us with no issues - the hospital service was quick and efficient We absolutely loved it and will be returning next year (we're not usually one's to return places as I like to explore, but we wanted longer here so making an exception!).
