This hotel stay was an excellent choice. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again.
In Faro for six days to celebrate the birthday of my twin brother and me,we stayed in the Occidental Hotel and what a stay. Booked in very quickly, allocated a beautiful room on the first floor, room was lovely, two comfortable twin beds,lots of storage space ,flat screen tv,tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and superb A.C . We were bed & breakfast, dining area on the 4th floor ,amazing, lots of choice both hot & cold, delicious drinks and the views afforded from the terrace were awesome, the bar was also fantastic, enjoyed drinks here before going out at night,the hotel offers sauna and a rooftop pool and gives free transfers to the beach and the location is amazing, in the heart of this fascinating city, a big shout out to all the staff here ,made our stay memorable even supplying a cake for our birthday on the 5th of October, couldn't fault anything about our stay here ,its the only hotel I will stay in on future holidays to Faro.

Me and my twin brother were staying in Faro for five day's celebrating our 61st birthdays and on our visit to faro we stayed in a superb hotel that was located in one of the nicest areas of Faro. Occidental Faro is located on Praça Dom Francisco Games and it was the perfect hotel to stay in on our visit to this brilliant town.The hotel is superb and was a joy to stay in. We were booked in here quickly and we must say the room which we were allocated while we were staying here (108) was really spacious and really clean.The twin bed's where fantastic and very comfortable and there was ample storage. The bathroom area was superb and we couldn't find a fault with the room that we were allocated.Theres a nice swimming pool and nice bar's and as we were having our breakfasts in this hotel the breakfasts were very good and set us up for the day ahead. We used all the amenities on offer as it's got a sauna and a pass for a ride to the beach. All in all a fantastic hotel that's in an excellent area of Faro and its a hotel we will definitely stay in again on our next trip to Faro.(This is my 1st review of Occidental Faro Hotel).
Excellent location, staff friendly, nice clean rooms and amazing breakfast. Rooms a good size and shower was fab.
