This hotel is situated in Carvoeiro, close to the town centre, Carvoeiro Beach, and Paraiso Beach. Various restaurants and bars as well as a bus stop are located nearby. Vale Centianes Beach, near the famous rock formations of Algar Seco, is 10 minutes away by foot. Also nearby are Vale Covo Beach and Vale de Milho Golf. Faro Airport lies some 60 km away. The hotel offers 130 spacious guest rooms. Each room is fitted with air conditioning, hair dryer, satellite TV, balcony and bath amenities. This comfortable hotel offers outdoor and indoor pools and a sun terrace with loungers and palm trees. Guests can enjoy a hotel spa and wellness area to relax during the stay. A massage is also available for guests who need to immerse in a completely relaxing experience by the team of professional therapists. It is a perfect place to enjoy the magnificent environment that this place has to offer.
This hotel is in need of a refresh. The sink in the bathroom was chipped & the wood was rotting/cracked in places. The front desk staff was not helpful. Towels for the pool needed to be gotten from the front desk no where near the pool for a 20€ cash deposit each! But the breakfast is good.
The property is very clean. The staff members are very pleasant. Breakfast was very good. There was a good choice and empty serving dishes were refilled quickly. The breakfast room was very busy at times but space became available fairly quickly. The staff were protective in clearing tables when they became available.
The pool area is very good and the pool bar is popular. They do food there around lunchtime. There was a nice vibe around the pool. There is also a bar within the hotel building.
The location is very good. Close to a number of bars and restaurants and there is a little grocery shop close by too. There are many more shops and restaurants down the hill and on the Main Street. The beach is there too.
This is a very decent hotel, the comments about the courtesy and friendly attitude of the staff are more than valid. No complaints about the room or the bathroom, apart from the woeful water pressure in the wash basin, shower pressure was perfect. The breakfast was amazing and watching the staff keep on top of everything, replenishing the buffet, clearing the tables was most impressive. From my personal point of view, the only negative was the incredibly loud pool music on three out of the six afternoons we were there. First, there was one afternoon with 2 hours of live saxophone music played to a backing track and 2 afternoons with a DJ blasting out dance music. Doesn't help when you are trying to concentrate on reading a book. My wife likes nothing better than sitting in the shade in the pool area and reading, not with that racket going on. Sitting on our room balcony wasn't an option, with room nr. 1, we were as close as you could get to the pool without being in it. Sitting in the room wasn't an option either, even with the doors closed and the AC going full blast, the music was still intrusive. The only place with a little quiet was the sofa in the reception area, not ideal. And for anyone with serious mobility issues, there is a reasonably steep incline down to the town and back up again, taxis are available. There are also several good restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.
Would we go back again, yes, the good points outweigh the negative, but do please rethink the pool music.
Lovely and clean, mainly helpful staff, excellent food at pool bar, no actual restaurant but many just steps away outside. Awesome pool. Breakfasts are amazing,
This is a terrific hotel in a superb location. Wonderful staff. Property is clean and tidy and offers an amazing breakfast from 8am-11am. The rooms are small & cupboard space is inadequate for 2 people. However the balcony is lovely and the rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily.
Special mentions go to Usman, Roaid & Alex who run the pool bar and are always courteous, professional and efficient.
Really the staff are what make this hotel so good. Very genuine and happy to help. They are also loyal so it must be a nice place to work.
Bring your own beach towels and set up a tab when you check in because paying by cash is ALWAYS a problem.
