This luxurious hotel is conveniently located a mere 300 metres from Vila Senhora da Rocha beach, a white sandy beach where guests can find their balance between body and soul and connect with the wild. Nearby to the property, visitors will find numerous stunning beaches like Armaçao de Pêra or Grande Poente beach. The nearest airport to the premises is Faro international airport, which is at an approximate distance of 55 kilometres away. The spacious, luminous and well-equipped guest rooms and suites are the perfect spaces in which visitors can unwind and recover their energy after a busy day. Most of them even have a balcony or terrace with spectacular views to the Atlantic Ocean. There is a large outdoor swimming pool with a fun children's area, as well as a mini club for the little ones.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Good location close to beach Had to self search for facilities provided Rooms good size for couple but 2 single bed in room put close together which moves away and risk of falling through. Foul smell in room?? From bathroom drain unable to be resolved or given a different room On last day morning fire alarm came on . No fire warden visible to inform or alert residents or reassure of the nature of fire Only when walked to reception to enquire was told “ it’s nothing just a fault and to ignore “

We have just stayed 5 nights here with our toddler. Hotel was wonderful, splash park was incredible and pools were clean. Lots to entertain the 2 year old! Our room was spotlessly clean. We opted for the family suite so our little boy had his own room & was very spacious. Food was really good for all inclusive buffet.
Only reason that I deduct a star was some of the timings. 7pm dinner in a family hotel is slightly late for couples with little ones & also mini disco started at 8.30pm - we’d have loved to come along if it was more in line with family times!
We have now visited this hotel 3 times (across the past 5 years) and loved it every time. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids aged 2 and 8, so the review is very family-friendly focused.
Food - The food has been lovely on every visit, best all inclusive hotel we have been to over the years. A huge mention to the lovely Agueda and Sylvio (so sorry if I have spelled names wrong) these two were absolutely incredible with our eldest daughter who has a milk allergy. Nothing was a problem to them - they arranged for her to have things like milk free pancakes, pizza, ice cream and sorbet. They took time to show everything she can have, and let us know what else could be made for her in the kitchen. They were also so lovely and welcoming to us and our children, India says thank you so much Agueda and Sylvio❤️ Breakfast is 0700-1030, lunch starts 1230 and dinner starts 1900.
Rooms - We had a clean and modern room, no bath for kids but our daughters don’t mind a shower. Some rooms may have baths I’m not sure. Lovely view of pools and sea in the background, and we also got a welcome back gift of champagne and sweets!
Pools - When we visited in May a few years ago the pools were too cold, but this time in September they were only cold initially and easy to get used to once you’re in, we went in every day. Splash park and water slides are fun, you have to be over 120cm for the bigger two slides.
Entertainment - Age for 4 and up, our eldest didn’t go every day as gets a bit bored when it’s drawing and crafts, but she loved the bouncy castle and pool fun. The kids club is on 1030-1230 and 1530-1730. Our youngest was too young for kids club, but she could still go on the bouncy castle if we supervised, and there was a baby club room with toys which she could use if one of us stayed with her. The mini disco is your typical mini disco with all the songs kids love, they will also take requests during the day and played baby shark for our 2 year old. Entertainment afterwards is also your typical for all inclusive with dancing, singing, magic etc. mini disco is 2030 and entertainment is 2200. It’s later but our daughters who normally go to bed at 1930 adapted well.
Area - It’s a very quiet area with not much around, but perfect for us as we are looking for a lovely chilled holiday. Two beaches within walking distance which are lovely. You can get taxi / uber / bolt to other towns and attractions.
As others mentioned, the hotel is somewhat dedicated more towards French guests, for example I joined the aquagym one day with my daughter and a French guest, and the animation lady spoke in French the whole time, no English for us. Other than that, we didn’t really notice and 99% of staff were lovely and accommodating to us and families around us.
Overall I highly recommend this hotel, well deserving of 4 stars and we can’t wait for our 4th visit!
Lovely hotel in a lovely location. Travelling solo and had no reservations. The only recommendations would be to have a "que" system at the bar. There is a que of sorts but it seems to depend on which way the bar staff what to serve. A simple arrow works solve this. Also, on the white night, I actually didn't attend as I felt like it was an "invitation only"event.
Overall the holiday and hotel was a little worse than what we expected. We knew it wasn’t a 5 star and was relatively cheap compared to others across the Algarve. The hotel was pretty modern and kept pretty clean. Rooms were pretty big and we were very happy with them. Location perhaps isn’t the best as the beaches are close but very tricky/downhill to get to to and we’re a nightmare coming back up with a pram. The staff overall were ok but there was a couple who were unfriendly and verging on rude, it doesn’t hurt to smile. Drinks were good, loved the Sagres on tap but as they were only small was quite annoying that you can only get 2 drinks per visit, especially as we were with friends so trying to get 1 drink each for 4 of us to save more of us going the bar each time. Food was ok, not sure if it’s due to the time of the year with it not being as busy, but there wasn’t a great selection or variation. Our 3 year old is very fussy anyway but only really ate chips, I will try most things and a big foodie but just wish there was a bit more choice, perhaps a nice pasta bake each meal or something or some meatballs or burgers. The snack bar was very good, loved the cheese & ham toasties in there! Met some lovely people on our trip, a whilst we would go to the Algarve again, it probably wouldn’t be to this hotel. Pools were very cold but to be expected with the time of year, was quite a walk to get to the slides pool aswell, took us a while to find our way around the hotel as the reception is on the 3rd floor and restaurant 2nd floor
