Velamar Boutique Hotel was fully renovated in 2016 and reopened with a Boutique hotel conceptty offering a total of 73 rooms and 2 suites.
Boasting a prime location between the delightful fishing village of Olhos D'água and the well-known Praia de Santa Eulália, is less than a 5-minute drive from Maria Luísa Beach and the historic Albufeira Old Town and within walking distance of various restaurants and supermarkets. Guests can relax in peaceful surroundings yet still be in proximity to the city's attractions.
Breakfast buffet is served in the modern breakfast room which features panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Guests can relax with drinks and refreshments at the hotel's bar. Free WiFi is available.

A very nice, clean hotel and the staff are lovely and cheerful. Generally, internal decoration is a little bit dark but the jewel in the crown has to be the breakfast restaurant on the top floor. With plenty of natural light and good views, this is the perfect place to eat breakfast. A great place to stay to avoid the hustle and bustle of nearby Albufeira.
Just returned from a fantastic week at the Velemar Boutique Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. ❤️
The hotel is lovely, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic — plenty of choice and everything was delicious.
The only negative for us was the bar service. It was often quite difficult to find anyone manning the bar, which was a little disappointing, especially when you fancied a drink.
Overall, though, we had a fabulous week and would definitely recommend the Velemar Boutique Hotel. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely be returning! 🌴☀️❤️
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lovely Stay at the Velmour Boutique Hotel
We had a lovely stay at the Velmour Boutique Hotel. The hotel was nice and clean, and the location was just perfect for what we wanted. The snack bar food was great, and all the staff were really nice, friendly and welcoming.
They also noticed it was my birthday, and when we returned from a day out, there was a birthday cake and a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room. Such a lovely, thoughtful touch that made our stay extra special!
We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend the hotel to others. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable! ❤️
What a wonderful small hotel, pool is small but sufficient Breakfast is fabulous The hotel is immaculately clean and the rooms are very comfortable Only criticism really is they should repaint the outside it doesn’t match the beautiful decoration inside and makes the hotel Look a bit tired which it’s really not We’ve been here 3 times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else Need to mention Anderson at the pool bar and breakfast he is so lovely and helpful really lovely man who always was willing to help and recommend places
Very nice hotel.excellent breakfast & tapas etc available for lunch/evenings. Fillipa at the bar very helpful/kind ably assisted by Antonio. Breakfast 'team' always a smiling face..thanks. Will definitely return.xx
