Just returned from a fantastic week at the Velemar Boutique Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. ❤️
The hotel is lovely, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic — plenty of choice and everything was delicious.
The only negative for us was the bar service. It was often quite difficult to find anyone manning the bar, which was a little disappointing, especially when you fancied a drink.
Overall, though, we had a fabulous week and would definitely recommend the Velemar Boutique Hotel. We enjoyed it so much that we’ll definitely be returning! 🌴☀️❤️
A very nice, clean hotel and the staff are lovely and cheerful. Generally, internal decoration is a little bit dark but the jewel in the crown has to be the breakfast restaurant on the top floor. With plenty of natural light and good views, this is the perfect place to eat breakfast. A great place to stay to avoid the hustle and bustle of nearby Albufeira.
Another fabulous stay , our 6th time and third this year, just got back and need to return as soon as we can , great location, comfortable rooms , breakfast was plentiful and relaxing no rush just chilled.Now the staff,where do I start? Reception Lucas and Joao are always smiling so helpful and professional. Antonio still working very hard and great to see him, such a great guy with a good sense of humour and Phillipa lights up the room with her beautiful smile and personality ,always friendly, what a team! Must mention Anderson who is very hard working and polite and the other members of staff that I didn’t get their names at breakfast, we just love this hotel it has such a good feeling and we will be back can’t go to Olhos de Agua and not stay here ❤️
This is our second visit here and is just as wonderful as the first. The rooms are all clean and modern with everything you need. A big tv, kettle and coffee machine, free safe, fridge, table and chairs and a big comfy double bed.
The breakfast on the third floor is a real treat with high quality products (best fresh orange juice ever), croissants, pastries, yogurt, fruit cereals, coffee machine and a proper toaster 😃 as well as full English options too all high standard.
The staff here are wonderful phillipa on reception gets you off to the perfect stay with all the information you need, Antonio and phillipa behind the bar always putting a smile on your face and a special mention to Anderson who looks after you and will make you feel right at home. Also all the other staff are brilliant too but don't like all their names.
This hotel is amazing and in my opinion of higher standard than most 4 star hotels which is anxing given its only 3 stars. We will definitely be back again soon for another enjoyable stay.
We loved the Velamar!! The staff were so helpful and accomodating, the location was a perfect mix of calm & nightlife, and the breakfast/tapas options were perfect. We booked a room with a pool view and the balcony area was also lovely.
