The Rocamar Exclusive Hotel & Spa is located just 20 metres from the beach and is a short walk from the centre of Albufeira which offers a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment. Beaches, golf courses and theme parks are within easy reach. The hotel's sun terrace offers excellent views of the long stretch of sandy beach below.
Fantastic location short stroll and lift to beach. Staff pleasant and rooms kept clean. Beds changed twice weekly. Quiet downside small swimming pool area very few sunbeds if you manage to get one you have to take your belongings if you go for lunch and then no beds when you get back Good breakfast but same every day but suited us

Good location within walkable distance to local restaurants. Rooms cleaned every day. These days it is always expected that a refundable deposit would be asked for which wasn't a problem although having to pay for a safe I feel shouldn't be required.
However all in all, the hotel is well up to standard. Breakfast was adequate though personally I would have preferred a more varied selection of fruit being made available with only melon and orange on offer.
The vast majority of restaurant staff were very friendly although one particular member seemed to have an off day every day lol.
A special mention though to all the bar staff ( male and female ) who we always found to be friendly and cheerful.
For personal reasons I wouldn't return to Albufeira though wouldn't have any problem recommending the hotel.
Arrived mid morning tired amd hot . Disagreement upon checking in regarding €100 deposit each returned on check out which isn't mentioned by travel agent or in your itinerary. Besides all that my daughter and I had a beautiful week stay . Our room was on the pool area so we had our towels out prior to the opening at 8am , as we used our window which I decided no balcony this is our balcony . Pool wqs small yet just arrive at 9am you got your bed(s) secure out of 12 available but look the beach is literally at your doorstep . Carlos who i called Marcos nearly all week os the most respectful happy singing and dancing barman I've ever came across and such a gentleman even on leaving for the Airport made it his business to wish us both a safe flight with embracing hugs . Josef the general manager who took over from November if I remember correctly spoke to me passionately about team meeting and how to improve the hotel going forward and ideas he has which he didn't obviously disclose while awaiting our transfere with such passion and respect he like Carlos gets a 10 out of 10 to have you want to come back again . Breakfast buffet i find strange from many poor reviews I mean from Salads that many Europeans only eat to sweet treats for eastern Europeans to full fry/grill to pancakes made to order , seemingly my order of 8 to 10 was a jaw dropper after my full fry stacked in their amazing fresh rolls/baps to diggerent yogurts x3 most mornings , but my excuse is I paid for me and my daughters breakfast, she never had it so I did lol. Overall it was an amazing stay meeting other amazing guests by the pool making new friends I will definitely be back soon
This beautiful hotel has a perfect location. Very close to all bars and restaurants. But still in a quiet area. We didn't hear any noise the whole week. The hotel has beautiful views of the beach and a lovely pool area with very comfortable sunbeds.We stayed in the premium room 322. The room was a good size and spotless clean. There is a coffee machine in the room. They provide bathrobes and slippers. There's also towels provided for the pool area. The staff are all very helpful and very friendly. We were greeted with a big smile for breakfast every morning. The only complaint i have is the beds are a little hard. But it would not stop me from returning here. We will definitely be returning again in the near future.
