Centrally located resort of Albufeira, the Paladim Aparthotel is well run by friendly staff, creating a relaxing atmosphere. FROM 15/12/2016 AHEAD Paladim and Alagoamar aparthotel (situated in the same building) will join to be one hotel with 1 reception ONLY and all the services will be available for both hotels. The hotel is located between Old town of Albufeira and new town (The Strip), meaning guests will have the whole of the resort to explore. The location really is a fantastic feature of this hotel, which active families and couples will enjoy. Paladim is not far from beaches, so is ideal for people looking to explore or relax on the beach. The swimming pools and sun terraces are set in an attractive garden, the ideal place to spend lazy days. Guests will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars close by. The property provides comfortable accommodation with spacious apartments, all of which feature a selection of amenities including a kitchenette. Guests may enjoy a selection of hotel facilities including 2 outdoor swimming pools and 2 children's pools as well as poolside snack bar/restaurant. During the high season entertainment is provided almost every night. The Paladim has a total of 63 rooms (with Alagoamar 126), some studio and some one-bedroom apartments with avenue or pool view. Even though this is a self-catering apartment block, there are many features and amenities that ensure this will be a lovely stay. Rooms include satellite television, full bathroom facilities and a balcony looking over the avenue or pool view. There are 17 (with Alagoamar 34) studio rooms sleeping one to two persons and 46 one bedroom apartments (with Alagoamar 92) sleeping one to four. Each room offers: microwave, electric hobs, toaster, electric kettle, fridge, sofa bed, satellite television, bathroom with bath and shower, balcony with avenue or pool view. Facilities are the same in Paladim and Alagoamar but decoration is variable.

We had an excellent stay from start to finish! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

Perfect location for families
Stayed for 10 days as a family of 4 with 2 sons aged 8 and 16 and had a fabulous holiday. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our one-bedroom apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were large and comfortable, including the sofa bed and pull out bed. Towels and bedding were changed regularly throughout our stay, bins were emptied and toilet paper provided which I did not expect in self-catering. The pool area was kept very clean and tidy with staff checking the area regularly for rubbish. There were also plenty of sunbeds and we saw broken ones being fixed or replaced during our stay. People did get up early to "reserve" sunbeds but even when going down to the pool later, there were still beds available. Staff were checking people weren't leaving sunbeds unoccupied for hours throughout the day too. The pool snack bar and restaurant were both reasonably priced with a good range of drinks, snacks and meals available. The bar area is quite dated but again, it is kept clean and tidy. There was a machine to pay with cash which didn't work in the bar on an evening so we had to pay for drinks by card which I would have preferred not to do. Every night there was some form of family-friendly entertainment in the bar, but we were never bothered by noise from the bar on a night. Pedro who ran the karaoke nights was brilliant and got everyone involved. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to families with children. The location is right between Old Town and New Town in a quieter area so noise from bars and nightclubs was not an issue at all. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beach, Old Town or New Town and there were plenty of good restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and supermarkets around.

Lovely hotel shame about the food
Location was great lots of shops bars and restaurants nearby and town and new town about 3€ in an uber hotel rooms was spacious and clean and 2 very large pools Had half board wish I didn’t bother! Breakfast was good and buffet style help yourself But evening meals a disaster! Had to wait ages to be seen to order from a very limited menu very repeated starters and mains waited over an hour for the food to arrive which was lukewarm warm occasionally

Roadside room not much sleep
Our 2nd year coming to paladim algomar. We really like this hotel it it a great location near everything. Lovely friendly staff .this year we had a room on road side 1st floor in front of watches roundabout. We found it very hard to sleep with traffic and people walking home under our balcony been very loud .last 2 nights of our holidays the bar could not serve any bottle beers as the fridges were broken. my wife drinks corona.which they couldn't give us. As bottles were warm..we would stay hear again put only a room on pool side.
