Where to start.......  We specifically booked a deluxe room, yet the accommodation provided was neither as advertised nor reflective of the hotel’s stated rating. First, the room itself was extremely difficult to access. It required navigating multiple corridors and stairways, taking over two minutes to reach from reception. This was not only inconvenient but also unsuitable for guests with any accessibility needs. Once inside, it became immediately clear that the room fell far below the expected standard. There were numerous faults, including but not limited to:

• A bath that was cracked and peeling, with visible mould around the edges
• A sink that was unsecured and coming away from the wall
• Limited space to enter the bathroom due to the door hitting the toilet
• Wall panels that were damaged, coming apart, and in some places detaching entirely
• A cooker that was rusty and damaged

In addition, the room layout raised serious fire safety concerns. Directly beside the bed was a fridge and a microwave, which is wholly inappropriate and unsafe from a fire‑risk perspective. This setup is not something we would ever expect in a room advertised as deluxe. The room was also not as advertised. The images and description on your website did not match the reality in any way. The condition, layout, and facilities were significantly inferior to what we paid for. This had a massive negative impact on our holiday. We did not raise these issues with the hotel at the time of check in because, upon check‑in, the staff made us feel uncomfortable and spoke to us with indifference. This left us feeling that any complaint would not be taken seriously or handled professionally. When i did rais it i was only told it would be looked into but nothing ever came of it  By the time our holiday was done it was a relief to leave the hotel

We stayed here in may, and this was our first time in Portugal, and we loved it. It is around a 40-45 minute drive away from the airport, however we found the taxi ride to be very cheap.

The way the reception/check in room is decorated is not the most welcoming, however we were treated very well by the staff. The hotel is HUGE, and after walking around for about 10 minutes we managed to finally find our room, which was spacious and clean, with the pool being only a few steps away from our balcony.

My advice for this hotel is to keep exploring!! We discovered the kebab/taco bar on our second day. There were also fresh cakes and sandwiches which were available throughout the afternoon - you will never go hungry. The food at the ocean bar was amazing, along with the view, and the barbecue which was cooked everyday constantly from 11-3pm was always perfect. At the bar, you can only take 2 drinks per person. We didn’t find this a problem, but some could find this frustrating. The piano bar at the front cost money, which came unexpected as we did not know. There are multiple à la carte restaurants in this hotel. We did not get to try them all, but the barbecue and Italian were our favourites. They were all amazing! Jac’s restaurant had nice food and was always clean.

With the strip only being a few minutes walk away, we did not have any disturbance at night and slept comfortably. The beach is also only a couple minutes walk away which is great for those who love the beach. You do find a lot of large groups of friends in this hotel as people said, but this did not affect our stay. For the value, I think this hotel is 100% worth it. We stayed by the other pool as this is where our room was, but the main pool did have entertainment on such as games like waterpolo. Also, definitely explore the old town as it can be very lively at night. The motorbikes/taxis outside the hotel can take you there for €10. It is definitely worth it for the ride!

Overall, we will definitely be coming back here. Our expectations were exceeded. Thank you for a great holiday!
