Location- is central for party scene for young people Atmosphere - this hotel is 18-25 pool is hundred young people shouting which goes on during night- staff do take strong action but the banging on doors and shouting is relentless Rooms - 1 bedroom clean spacious few minor repairs carried out immediately staff very friendly and helpful Value - no entertainment, bar expensive, I would recommend if you have booked with young family to try and get exchange if you 18-25 this is ideal close to party scene, decent rooms,

Shocking! So the pool advertised on the main photo of love holidays shows a pool that belongs to the hotel opposite, many customers were unhappy with the pool that’s actually part of the hotel, it has literally a garden shed for a bar that’s open from 12-4. On arrival you’re required to pay 300 euro damage deposit on your room. CASH ONLY! That gets stapled up in an A4 piece of paper until your room is inspected on departure. There were a lot of stag and hens who were great and no really issue. However one of these guys lost the full 300 deposit for mistakenly using a face towel as the floor towel in the shower. When our party went for out deposits back, each one of our sealed deposits had between 20-50 euro missing from it. (We got that back) but you can see what I’m getting it with how dodgy it all is. The rooms were clean and that’s all this place has going for it. It is not a 4 star hotel, not even by Portugal's standards. It’s miss advertised and very sketchy! Would not recommend at all!

The hotel itself was generally nice, clean, and in a good location, which is why it’s so disappointing that our experience was completely overshadowed by the way we were treated by the staff.

We paid a €600 cash security deposit on arrival, only to have it taken the next day after being accused of making excessive noise. We were told the disturbance happened at 2am, but this simply wasn’t true—we had left our room at around 11pm and were not even there at that time. Despite explaining this, the staff were dismissive and unwilling to listen.

To make matters worse, our key cards were deactivated without warning, leaving us locked out of our room. When we went to reception, the staff were rude, belittling, and treated us as though we had done something wrong without giving us a fair chance to explain.

We also discovered that every other group we spoke to in the hotel had their deposit taken as well, which raises serious concerns about how these deposits are being handled. On top of the €600 cash deposit we’d already paid, we were even told we needed to pay an additional €300 cash, despite there being no clear justification.

It’s a shame because the hotel itself has potential, but the customer service was by far the worst part of our stay. Being treated with disrespect, wrongly accused, and having such a large deposit withheld has left us with a very negative impression. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re prepared for the possibility of unfair charges and extremely poor customer service.
