Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
First of all I have to say, I don’t know what some of the bad reviews are complaining about. Unless this hotel has addressed them before our arrival.
We spent 4 night All Inclusive at the end of September. The staff were always nice, friendly and helpful. Our room with a balcony was clean and spacious. The food was great, especially the English style breakfast, and the Pizza or Burgers after lunch.
The atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed, not much entertainment-wise but we understood it was towards the end of the season and we didn’t mind the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is place within 5-10 minutes walk of the Strip or beach so there’s plenty of options for entertainment. A Tuc Tuc is only €5 per person anywhere you go. I highly recommend the Old Town. This hotel is one of the many MGM hotels within the area and we had access to the all at no additional cost. We booked the Peri Chicken one night down at the Beach Bar Hotel. And also the Steak Night at the Gardens just a few minutes walk. Again, really good. Your holiday is what you make of it.
The only minor complaint I may say is, we were All Inclusive but had to pay €2 per bottle of water for our room. Water is an essential, so I don’t think you should have to pay for it, especially when all-inclusive! Also note, if you arrive early, you won’t get your All-Inclusive wristband till 11.30am. But this didn’t ruin our holiday.
I would highly recommend staying here again, especially if you just want a relaxing experience. But this particular hotel might not have much for you children. I think we only saw 2 or 3 kids.
